Bichon frise breeding have you been put off?

Hi I feel it necessary to say that Bichons are fine with heart murmurs and dont have eye problems , unlike what one breeder in the UK is stating. I own several wih heart problems and they are fine. I judge bichons and have had them since 1982 and no one knows more than I do . This one breeder has stepped on all our toes and doesnt know enough unlike me and some others like Maureen and John. I know they have been instrumental in spreading info about her and I wish them well .If you have think that bichons are affected please say so now.Good luck Bichonlover keep up the good work about breeding . We need to make a living dont we !

Hummm dare you send this to your breed health commitee! It would be enought to get 90% of stud owners to blackball you in my country & breed...... Whats your kennel name? just in case I ever get a Bichon I want to make sure it's not from your breeding with this additude toward health.

Obviously you dont know as much as you think you do, hereditary problems should not be passed on through breeding, you have no medical training im sure to back up your statements, and to say that you need to make a living regardless of the outcome and health of the dogs is an absolute disgrace, in fact you are a disgrace to the dog showing circle, do some research before you push your high and mighty opinions on others.

If this rant is an example of the type judging you do, I'm glad I don't show dogs. Your post really doesn't make much sense

To say dogs are "fine" with a heart murmur is just wrong & dangerous. While "some" dogs may do fine & the murmur not develop further, that is certainy not always the case.

Are you saying it is perfectly okay to breed dogs with heart murmurs?
