How much would I need to charge, how long do i walk the dog, and would anybody trust me? Also, if I were to take care of a dog, what would I need to charge and should I let the dog come to my house or should I go to the owner's house? How much should I charge for pet sitting? Lastly, how do I advertise? thanks for all of you input. I appreciate it.

i have the most beautiful english bulldog named jr. he was given to my by my husband. jr. was already a year old when we got him. unfortunately, we dont have any papers on him, but my husband is trying to locate them. jr.'s father was supposabley a champion pedigree that competed in many different shows. by the looks of jr., one would surely believe it! since english bulldogs can be very pricey, and jr.'s owner just gave him to us......my husband didnt press the issue of jr.'s paperwork. this wouldnt be such a big deal except for the fact that i want to breed him. jr. really wants a girlfriend and he should have the best of the best because he truely is. how do i find him a good match in my area? and is it really that hard to breed bulldogs? i have heard that most have to be artificially inseminated? if so, who does this? everyone that meets jr. falls in love with him and i already have sooooo many requests for one of his puppies. how do i find him a dame?

My bull mastiff has trouble with yeast infections in his paws and ears. Vet says it is very common in this breed and has recommended changes to diet. I've tried this with varying degrees of success. Question - Doctors often prescribe yogurt to women who suffer from chronic yeast infections. Has anyone tried this with their dog?

I have a 4 month old minature poodle. She has been perfect however the other day my daughter grabbed a bagel in the dogs mouth (never had any food aggression ebfore) and the dogs snaps at her really hard and growled!! she never did that before.. The other day she was playing with a pretzel he found on the floor, and i grabbed it and she actually charged at me to bite..but then rolled on her stomach to have me pet her.IS SHE BIPOLAR?!. She was coming at me, teeth showing, barking and trying to bite at me. No other aggression besides these two times (last 2 days). What do i do..

I have a 17 week old Lab puppy. She has had all her shots except her Rabies shot which she will be getting next week.

My question is do I still have to worry about parvo?? We are going camping this weekend and I am sure there will be other dogs there. We keep our puppy on a leash and all the other people are supposed to as well. Do I still have to worry about the Parvo virus being out there?? So many people are losing their puppies to parvo! I keep wondering are these people not getting the shots??? Or are the puppies getting the virus even though the puppies are getting the shots????

Thanks for any answers!!

Two hyper, happy-go-lucky great danes who want a playmate... and seem to take to smaller dogs faster than any other.

However, the majority of smaller dogs they've BEEN around scream and run and hide like people from Godzilla.

SO. Anyone know of any cat-friendly breeds that would be able to deal with a great dane barreling toward them head on and leaping over their heads (No risk of injury... they're quite good at it. They even manage to compensate if the critter beneath them moves) in a frenzy over joy and play?

Mixed breeds, of course, are at the top of this list (Yes, you shelter-mongering, guilt-tripping nuts, I intend to get a shelter dog if at all possible, and kindly stay out of my question. Thank you) but a base OF breeds would definately help in looking for the right dog. =) Thanks you guys!

Like at a salon. Does it depend on how good the salon is.
Tell me if you get likes lots of money or just average or not much.
I live in Australia if that's of any relevance.

despite the fact that I spray them with frontline? I have even sprayed their ears before I go out for a walk, but it makes no difference. Last summer I must have removed at 30 ticks from my dogs. All of the areas where the ticks had been became infected & left scar tissue under the skin. One of my dogs ears is now almost completely scar tissue. I dread this summer. Any ideas on how to prevent them or how to find them on my dogs before they latch on?

My little westie caught and killed a bird in the garden. He was picking it up and running around with it then dropped it ands started licking it......he thought it wanted to play with him. When I finally got the bird off him it was dead!! 1: I thought birds were quicker than dogs 2: Does this constitute murder!

I have a doberman puppy, every night it would sleep on bed at my foot. Is it bad to let them sleep in your bed with you?

My bf have four dogs and they all sleep in his queen size bed with him. Whenever I'm at his house, I, my bf, and all of our dogs would sleep in same bed together. He's one who have most well behaved dogs I know of and help me out with my puppy most.

But few people told me it's bad because the dog will end up try to challenge me.

Who should I listen to?
