I don't know....

I've got an elderly pomeranian, about 14-15 years old, who is extremely lethargic today. No bloody stool or frequent urine attacks or vomiting, just lethargy for no apparent reason. He's not in pain, as far as I can tell. The only thing bothering me is that his stomach is swollen, but sort of bouncy (I guess it's gas). I'm afraid he might be dying or something, but it doesn't seem like a dog would just die. Could it be food-related? Yesterday and today he had ALPO Chophouse Ground Top Sirloin, but it's not in the lists...

I really don't want him to die...

my bulldog died a couple of months ago. something was wrong with his head and he would bite people and other dogs.while he was still alive we got a new puppy a boxer. we kept them separate so the puppy wouldnt get hurt. even though they never played together they saw each other through the screen and knew one another was there....now thats its been a while since the bulldog died our boxer has been running around as is she was playing with someone. my mom saw it two days ago and i just personally experienced it today...is it possible my boxer could be playing with the spirit of our old bulldog?

Just curious-- my dog loves licking off hand cream/ body lotion/ face cream... I'm sure it can't be good for him, but is there a mineral his body needs? It can't be that he likes the taste, surely!

I have all of my dogs inside, and as cesar milan would say I "treat them like humans" they do have boundaries however.
I cant stand it when people put dogs outside permanetly, or don't allow them on a certain couch or rug. My dogs can sleep on whatever they want, roam around the house at will, and sit on any rug. My dogs both sleep in my bed at night too.

What do you prefer? Indoor or outdoor dog? Why?

She is scratching. Her skin is pink and splotchy. My old dog did the same thing when we moved to this house. My neighbor's dog did the same thing when they moved here. It has to be in the yard. What could it be? It has even made some of her hair come out. Poor lil poo.

I have 11 week old Toy American Eskimo puppy .. who weighs a whopping 3.4 lbs.

Tuffy (his name) stayed with my mom and dad for a weekend and they spoiled him rotten, by giving him table food ... cooked hamburger, ham, Kraft dinner etc ...

So, since he came home he refuses to eat his dog food. He will eat an extremely minimal amount of crunchies (dry) but has turned his little nose up at even the premium dog foods such as Beneful (real chicken in gravy) and Ceazer (porterhouse steak etc ..)

The vet said such a tiny dog can't go even one day without eating, without it affecting his health. So, at my wits end ... I purchased a cooked, fresh chicken and cooked some moose roast ... and he loves it. Is it ok to feed him just moose and chicken? or do dogs need other nutrients as well?

He is a 12 year old lab, he has a growth on his rearend that may be cancerous. The surgery will be at least $500. The reason I am not sure weather to go through with the surgery is that he is having difficulty going up and down stairs, he has a hard time getting up from lying down, he has lost almost all the hair on his tail, he has 2 small growths on his face and all he does is sleep. I mean literally he sleeps all the time. He only goes outside to go to the bathroom and then wants back in and goes back to sleep. I am just not sure I should invest that much money in him at this time of his life. This is a hard decision for me I love him and would miss him.

We have crate trained our pup from the beginning, she is now 6 months old and I am wondering when you started let your puppy out while you were not home or even at night. Thanks for the insight!
