Apples are fine for dogs & will cause no problems. A healthy treat. I would not give them the seeds though!!!!

Apples are good, but not the seeds. The seeds are poisonous to dogs. I believe they have a chemical in them that is like arsnic to animals.

According to the ASPCA website, the stems, leaves & seeds of apples are poisonous. See link below, and look under Fruits.

No seeds or stems. But be sure the apple is washed thoroughly, just like you would wash one for yourself..to remove any pesticide etc. from growing/shipping.

Actually apples can be toxic to dogs in large quantities. I recommend them to my weight clinic clients as healthy treats, but advise no more than a few slices a day for a large dog. As people have said, don't feed the stem or pips.

As long as they will eat it. Usually your dog will eat whatever you eat. My dog eats almost everything except peppers.
