I would like to purchase a show quality puppy(boxer) and achieve champion status. I know that they must recieve a certain amount of points, but......during a certain time frame? bigger shows equals more points? On average how many points do you recieve at each show? On average, how many shows does it take? On average what are some of the costs for entering, training, and showing your dog?
It seems EVERY kennel has a champion or two. Of course this makes sense for breeding purposes, but I just dont understand. Are these shows region specific and boxers do not compete with boxers in another part of the country?

HELP!!!!!

I bought my toy poodloe March 9. He was very playful and ate and drank water all day. The women daughter whom i got the poodle from gave me the wrong name of food. Sunday he stop eating the food i bought and i called the lady and she gave me the correct food. I bought it Monday and he has almost completely stop eating. Today he's just been laying around. Does this mean something is wrong? Do i need to take him to the vet? Is he home sick or what?

We moved to the country and my dog chases skunks all the time. She has already been sprayed twice. It's really not fun to clean up. She usually minds me pretty good, but when it comes
to chasing skunks, she just won't listen. Any suggestions? Getting rid of the skunks is not an option.

I have been looking in to (and starting the dog) feed a barf diet to my dogs and cats...my dogs have always gotten raw soup bones and pig ears. and they get most table scraps, mixed with kibble...
however after we lost our male cat at the young age of 4 to a bladder blockage...i have been looking in to feeding our other male and new female cat a raw diet...the vet told me that indoor fixed male cats get it more often then say a fixed male barn cat would. my mother also loss her indoor unaltered male cat a week before we lost ours(same food fed). So the more i looked the more i belamed the food companies that claim they care.
also the male cat is VERY over weight. and the dogs are chunky...but they get lots od exersize....so lite diets would be helpful.

so the question is have u read any good books or web sites with some free recipes?

thanks in advance.

My 5 1/2 months old puppy just broke or lost one lower incisor tooth (sharp pointed teeth). She isn't in pain, just playing and chewing her toys as she does normally. I am just hoping this wasn't a permanent teeth she lost? Can anyone advise at what age do puppies develop permanent teeth?

I dont know if I can take him to a vet because they are all closed. But these pills aren't Reactine or Claritin or anything of a kind, the pharmacist gave it to him as prescription, so the dose must be higher. So what will happen to my dog? He is very slow, and usually he is always excited and jumping on people.
