how many did he take? and you should look on the label, see what it is and see if you can search online for the site. your parents should know the name of the drug.
also look to see if it says how strong the dosage it.
you also didnt say how big/small your dog it, that makes a diffrerence!!!
*kat is right about the peroxide thing- vets will tell you to do that if they eat a poison. i dont know who gave the thumbs sown, but they obviously do not know very much.

With all your answered here, I am agree with "Reas"
"Call an emergency animal hospital and ask for advice, they usually will tell you what to do and/or if you need to bring your pet in or it can wait till your vet is available. But call them, your pet might be dying." I think it the best answered for you. I had to give my dogs allergies pills sometime, but it was a small pill.

There are emergency vets open after hours. Check your phonebook. If you can't find see it in there, call around to places like Animal Control and ask them for the number. Most vets even have an answering machine that leaves an emergency number just in case.
If you are concerned, you should take him just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.

allergy meds usually have a sort of antihistamine in them that makes humans and dogs alike sleepy and lethargic.. but if he ate a wholw bunch and not just 1 or 2, then you should definately see a vet asap.. if ur brother took the whole bottle of pills at once, u'd call a doctor, right? same thing!

You dog needs to go to an emergency vet ASAP. Call ahead to let them know that you are coming. Turn off the computer RIGHT NOW and get him in before he dies.
And get your brother to keep his medication someplace where to dog can't get it.
Pick a "best answer" so that we know you are on your way to the hospital.

Most allergy medicines contain some sort of steriods that help clear the nose passageways...et. so i suggest you go see a vet, cause his nose may be dried up, and this may harm the dog with all the meds in them

Take him to a vet now, or an emergency vet clinic. They will need to pump his stomach, or it could be too late and they'll have to monitor him to make sure he'll be ok.

Not a vet. Go to an animal hospital. Look in yellowpages.com or call the operator for the one nearest you. Don't wait any longer.
