It is a cross between a pomeranian and poodle. Did you have a good experience? How easy was it to train the puppy? How much did you pay? What does it look more like grown-pomeranian or poodle? What is the upkeep on the dogs coat-easy or hard to groom? Do they shed or smell alot? Do you have yours around children or other animals? About how big is it full grown? I have found some local for sale but I am just wanting to get some real advice. Thank You.

He is a 15 lbs. shih tzu and I have never given him a bath. I have always taken him to the dog groomer, but I want to learn to do this myself.

There's an article in my local paper talking about a 4 month old pitbull that supposibly ate the foot off a 4 year boy. The dog was put to sleep because of this. There are now several questions about the mother being asked (after the dog is already dead).
I know my beliefs but I was just wondering what everyone elses were.

I have a yorkie which ears just stood up. One of them is perfect however the other one seems to lean backwards from the tip a little bit. Is there anything I can do to make it straight, or will it go normal by itself?

He was with his litter mates until yesterday when I brought him home. He's vry affectionate to me and wants to play when I take him outside but in the house, he stays in the crate. I also have a 14 yr old female Pom and a 7 yr old male Pom. It seems that the male pom is trying to intimidate the new arrival. I leave the crate door open but he won't even come out to eat. I have to bring him the food and water and then he eats and drinks and plays with me from inside the crate. Do you think it's because he's new here? any suggestions?

I have two dogs a Jack Russell Terrier and a Rat Terrier and both shed REALLY BAD!! It would not be so bad if it was just one but with two dogs it seems like no matter how much I clean it is still everywhere!! I brush them and bath them on a regular basis but it never seems to help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks,Ashlie

My ex girfriend moved out in november. She left in my possession two labs that we had raised together for 2 years. When we were working on our breakup and she agreed to leave my house she asked what about the dogs. I gave her the option of taking them only in the event that she would be able to take care of them herself. I told her if she left them with me I would take care of them and I would pay off any debt owed on them at the vet. She was officially out as of November 30. She came back to pick up a few items that she needed help with about a week later during this whole time I was in possession of the dogs. After a couple of weeks I paid off their vet bill and took them to have their vaccinations which were a year over due. She called on January the 17th to tell me she was coming to get them. I advised her that per our agreement in the event that she left them with me I would provide care for them and they would stay with me she is threatening to take me to court.

I have a nearly 5 month old Shih Tzu and for whatever reason, she stopped climbing up stairs about 1 month ago. Prior to that, she had no problem going up, she was afraid to go down, but up wasn't an issue. The thing is, she's only afraid to go up our indoor stairs; outside, she has no problem climbing the concrete stairs, just our wooden stairs inside. We try to help her up, but she is as stiff as a bored, almost like she's frightened. We've tried bribing her with treats, encouraging words...nothing! Help, I'm getting a tad worried.

I have a little maltese and today he is getting his first groom. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to groom him. I just love all his fluffy hair but it really does get matted and I pretty much have to clean his butt each time after he goes to the bathroom.

I have taken over the care of my daughter's 10 year old cocker. He had started peeing in the house where he was staying prior to coming to me. But from what I can tell he did not get much attention. He is still doing it, but I also work during the day and am gone for 10-1/2 hours. He has not had any accidents on the weekend when I am home. He seems to only do it once and I am thinking he just is unable to hold it that long. He is deaf but otherwise is in great shape. Had been abused when he was a puppy prior to my daughter getting him. Does not bark and has always been very timid. Any suggestions?

He is a chocolate lab and now at 3.5 months he weighs 32 pounds. Several years ago I got a chow/shepard mix that was 11 pounds at this age of 3.5 months and she grew to be 70 pounds. Could the lab actually become three times bigger than my older dog?

Im really interested in adopting a greyhound but i live in new york city and was wondering if they are good for apartment living

Thanks for all the feedback. I guess I made it sound like I give them treats all the time. They only get treats for going potty outside & when they do something that I've taught them. I think you're right about them being bored. I feed them Nutro large breed puppy at the same times everyday. I do add chicken sometimes. I will try the microwave idea. Also, does anyone know if Biljack is good for dogs?

Pretty straightforward question. Are they the same with different names? Is one a better indoor dog? Is one more rare or expensive?

My boyfriend and I are moving into an apartment and we've been wanting to get a dog. It has to be 20 pounds or lighter.

We want an active dog that we can take to parks and play with etc. And it should be reasonably easy to train. =)

Any suggestions!?

Why do these questions from trolls get such big responses?

Surely these people would be better finding something else to do. Why not encourage them to do so by ignoring them when they post stupid insensitive questions instead of feeding their stupidity?

And YES I have bathed the female....I need to know what I can put on her as far as dog collar, advantix, advantage, frontline etc that will not hurt the puppies.
