I currently have a 6 month old beagle puppy. Our pug is housebroken and uses a litterbox like a cat, but the beagle pup still goes on the floor. Whenever we take both dogs out for a walk she goes on the floor once we get back in the house.

I currently live in a townhouse with NO backyard. Does anyone have any idea on how to housebreak a 6 month old puppy?

We can't use newspaper since she rips it up.

No jokes or wisecracks please.

How much is the typical rate? Is it profitable? How did you set it up or if you used their service, how did find the dog walker? What are some pitfalls of the business? Any advice is appreciated.

What are the odds that my dogs have heartworms? I have 3 dogs a 1 year old male Papillon 8lbs! A one year old female Doxie/Corgi mix 14lbs! And a 1 year old male German Shepard mix 55lbs! I know the testing for heartworms is expensive! I have already purchased heart worm preventatives! But i don't wanna waste them! I live in northern Ca! Thanks in advance! Oh another question! Can dogs get asmatha (spelling ??)

The two go hand in hand. In the 30's, 40's and 50's pit bulls were the most popular family dog in this country. The goverment used the pit bull as the symbol of courge and national pride in WW1. They were used as nanny dogs to protect the childern of fram families and the first army dog was a pit mix nammed Stubby. He was given severl medals, the rank of SRG. and honored in the white house. Do something about the human element in all of these attacks and they will stop and the pit bull can again be the bright star of the dog world they were at one time.
This is a question I saw but it did not get many answers and i though it neede a second change.

My min pin Ruby truly believes she is a lil human child. She has more clothes (literally) than I do and picks them out of a bottom drawer. She thinks she has to be dressed to go anywhere usually unless its hot out - then wants to wear nothing LOL. Ruby sleeps in bed under my arm and insists on being under the blanket, sometimes with her head on the pillow. She also tries to "talk" when spoken to and has a vocabulary bigger than most toddlers haha. Ruby's so spoiled.. :)

I just want to know how long we may have left - my chihuahua Emmy has a severe enlarged heart, pulmonary edema, coughing, collapsing. She can only eat a little at a time and has to take breaths in between.

Vet has her on Lotomil and Vetmedin, but not seeing a big improvment. ANy suggestions on any drugs that may help?

Tell it to me straight, how long do you think she may have?

I have a 7 wk. old male lab. His mom is a registered lab but not sure what dad is. Do labs tend to be bow legged in the front quarters kind of like a pit or maybe a bull dog? My pup appears to be quite bow legged and was wanting a little advice before I take him to the vet next week for vaccines.

I need help finding a low priced vet in kansas.
I am taking my dog in tomorrow and don't have the money to pay the high prices that I know almost all vets in Johnson Couny and Wyandotte County have. Does anyone know of a low priced but good farm vet or other type vet where we'll get good care but not pay a fortune we don't have.
