I need help finding a low priced vet in kansas.
I am taking my dog in tomorrow and don't have the money to pay the high prices that I know almost all vets in Johnson Couny and Wyandotte County have. Does anyone know of a low priced but good farm vet or other type vet where we'll get good care but not pay a fortune we don't have.

I agree wih Latrice. The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City spayed one of my dogs while I was in school, and provide preventative medicine at a great price. You'll have a long wait as they only make appointments for spay/neuter and are not a full service clinic. They provide basic care and vaccinations though.

Try the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City--many people don't know that in addition to adoption, they offer low cost preventative veterinary care. See the link below which gives more information.

It is perfectly ok to ask about fee's incurred by having your pet seen by the doctor. Many vet's have payment options, and are willing to work with you. Generally vets in smaller communities, or in more blue collar area's are more willing to work with you.
I live in a more upscale area, and drive to a smaller town for my animals, so they are always current on vaccinations.

Do you have a Petco there? They have low cost vaccinations there.
