The way I got rid of flees, was put my puppy in the tub and kept her in the tub for over an hour and a half, keep it warm while you do this. and the flees should all be dead by then that were on the dogs body. You will need to spray your home, and exterminate the bedding , wash all of the blankets, etc., and maybe even buy a new bed for your dog, not keep the old one which probably has flee eggs in it. You will definitely need to exterminate your entire home, and especially any blankets or sheets, or bedding that you have been using for your dog, and maybe yourself. You should also spray your furniture, too. everything needs exterminated. Your dog will not have anymore flees once it is bathed in the tub for at least over an hour and a half. You will see all the dead flees in the tub. It is the flee eggs that you will need to exterminate in all the places your dog has been laying.

The only way to get rid of a flea infestation is to treat the animal with Frontline Plus. Don't get it from your vet, they put a hefty mark-up on it, rather order it from an Internet based pet supply store.
Frontline will kill fleas at all stages of life. You must treat the pet once a month for this to work. You can't just treat once and expect that to fix the problem because fleas are all over your house in different stages of life.
Frequent vacuuming and cleaning of the pet areas will help with the treatment. Frontline also makes a spray that is very effective for carpets and upholstery, but that is a bit overkill.

It is really that simple, stick to the monthly treatments and the fleas will disappear.

Bluemoons, the vet flea drops are not to any extent further extreme priced. The stuff from the shops has a sturdy danger of being faux/counterfeit, because the shops purchase from warehouses, and the warehouses are stocked with the bottom value bulk purchases (way too many counterfeit meds are on the marketplace). in case you keep on with up with the organizations on the field, they're going to frequently allow you to do not forget that the code numbers are not to any extent further ones that got here from their factories, a particular thanks to do not forget that you and the save were duped. Vets order from the manufacturers, they get the actual stuff. A dose of income is $10. It begins operating in 20 minutes, and could kill all the fleas on a cat interior of an afternoon. Any fleas you be conscious on the cat after that first day were ones interior the ecosystem who now jumped on the cat to get a meal--it frequently takes 5 or 6 days to sparkling out the stay fleas in a house with the single clinical care. any extra flea infestations might want to be any eggs that hatch interior the subsequent 2 months. do no longer overdose the cat. in case you basically positioned a clinical care on, you want to attend, in spite of if this isn't any longer operating, as those are insecticides and including further and extra to the cat will smash the cat's liver and organ function. waiting previously using yet another, you are able to always bathe the cat with break of day dish cleansing soap, yet be particular to rinse the cat truly truly properly to get all the cleansing soap out of the fur. quite small fleas are likely newly hatched ones. i have got here across income works for a whole 6 weeks, and doesn't burn the exterior on the cat's neck like Frontline or Revolution.

you can give your animals a flea bath to help eliminate whats on them now then use either advantage or frontline drops. you get those from your vet. then you can shampoo your floor with a mixture of water and flea shampoo (same shampoo as you used for your pets) after that dries COMPLETELY get a few cans of flea powder the kind you use for your pets and sprinkle it on the floor in every room leave it sit as long as you can then vaccume it up. i suggest flea powder over flea bombs cuz flea powder can be left on the carpet all day if you like your pets lay on the floor there for giving them an extra hand and you do not have to open windows or leave your house. flea bombs often are a waste of money and time specially if you have large open rooms. or lots of rooms. it doesn't hurt to powder down your furniture as well for fleas breed in everything. durring the summer keep your yard mowed short as possible for fleas tend to breed in high grass and also in the areas where your pets are likely to do thier bussiness. there is also a powder type substance you can buy for your yard it has a dispenser you walk around your yard with it full of the flea killer/repellent and sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle i don't think it costs a whole lot 20 bucks or so i think. sounds like a lot to do but its worth it specially if you have small children who are prone to be bitten by these little blood suckers and fleas do often end up in your childrens hair which is just yucky. lol.

there are many ways but whatever you do you need to repeat in 10 days, because the gestation period is 10 days and once the eggs hatch it needs to be redone because no matter what anyone says nothing kills the eggs. and vacuum, vacuum,& vacumn again. always empty vacumn after every use.

as for your pet any shampoo left on for 20 min. will kill fleas. but don't think after 5 mins there dead because they go into hibranation so wait the full 20 min. when applying the shampoo do around the eyes, ears, nose, mouth,& privates first. That is where the will run and hide.

Start with a good flea bath. You'll have to treat the whole house with bug bombs. Stinks like hell. Use a flea repellent on your pet. You'll have to bomb the house every 2 weeks for a while. Good luck!

you can actually go to your local pet store and get this stuff im not what its called but it is a powder! You sprinkle it in your carpets and then vaccuum it up! You should also get Frontline Plus (the BEST) it usually kills all the adults and eggs within 2 to 3 days! And it repels any future fleas! Good luck!
