Free pups are hard to find. Visit petfinder and search for pups in your area. The small cost you'll pay in the adoption fee is more than made up for what you'll save in vet care. Most rescue dogs and puppies come spayed or neutered and up to date on all their shots. This is a bargin for the price of a rescue dog!

Good luck and happy searching.

My recommendation is to wait until you're well-off enough to afford a healthy yorkshire terrier from a good breeder. Buying the expensive, healthy pet will pay off when it comes to vet bills. There's no such thing as a free animal: I've spent nearly $500 on my cocker spaniel that I found dumped on the side of the road, and this has only been since October! Animals are not cheap. If you're looking for a free animal, try a hamster or gerbil instead.

Free Yorkie Terrier you can keep an eye on newspapers or keep a ear open , but good luck probably will never happen , these dogs usually sell for a good price. I haven't seen one yet that was free. Good Luck Maybe you could find a half breed of this sort at an animal shelter, but I doubt that to.

1. Local humane society/animal shelter.. they may have one, if not, check back later. Usually only pay for the cost of spaying/neutering and shots. Plus, you may find a different dog there as well, knowing you will be saving the pet and giving it a good home.

2. Local classified ads. Check your newspaper.

3. Word of mouth. Tell your friends what you're looking for, and they may end up finding someone who can help you out.

4. Try www.puppyfinder.com sometimes they have free/cheap puppies on there. Even if you end up with a Yorkie mix, they are still adorable dogs!

I'd try the local pounds and pet shops. People always get dogs that they can't take care of, even the more expensive breeds and they get rid of them. But I must say, I have a 14 week old yorkie and he is anything but free. If it's not food, it's a shelter for him. And then you have to buy a collar and so on. It really adds up.
