Try talking to a local Humane Society about breeders.
Please note, that if you're thinking about making the dog a living fashion accessory to tote around like certain brain-dead celebs do, go for jewelry instead...you're not ready for a pet.
If you are asking because you genuinely love them, you need to know that miniature dogs like this have some problems. Discuss them with a reputable veterinarian...who, incidentally, may be able to direct you to someone who can sell you a safe and healthy animal. Avoid puppy farms, and do serious checks on any pet store you may want to buy from...too many of them take sick or simply unhealthy animals from puppy mills, or the equivalent for your animal of choice. Always try to buy from a reputable breeder.

You said in your other question that you didn't want a Paris Hilton dog. Her dogs are chihuahuas. I have owned chihuahuas for over 30 years and have been breeding them for almost 9 yr. They are wonderful dogs, very small, cute, cuddly, loving, loveable, sweet, loyal. They are the ultimate lap dog. Just so you know, there is no such thing as a teacup chihuahua. Standard size is 2-6 lb. Mpst will average about 4-5. Some will be bigger, they just don't meet the standard. What else would you like to know about chihuahuas?

First of all, there are Teacup Chis, but no breeder can guarantee the size of the adult dog, they can only guess. I personally have 6 chis 4 of whom were supposed to be teacup. They all weigh between 5-8lbs. The one Teacup I do have weighs in at 4lbs. There is a downside to owning such a small dog. They should not be bred (due to small size) They are prone to liver/kidney problems, and also get broken bones very easily.
