I don't know how else to explain this, but we've noticed when walking our dog that most strangers smile at him, pet him, cross the street to see him and adore him...yet almost anytime we pass anyone with an asian persuasion they give him a wide gerth, try to avoid eye contact with the dog, and rarely even acknowledge his presence?
Our dog is a really cute boxer/pomimo (pomeranian/eskimo) cross and only 4 months old, not mean spirited and instantly playful with zero signs of aggression. People, kids, other dogs all get along with him...except...with all due respect...asians.
At first I thought I was making it up. But after weeks of this type of thing happening I am really starting to wonder.
Can anyone shed light on this? I know some people just aren't dog people, but I am a bit surprised.
