My pitbull isabout nine months old. I keep him in the fence in the back yard. Every time I leave, he gets hurt really bad. One time, I came home from my parents house, I let him in the house and saw that his back leg was sliced open. I bandaged him up and took care of him until he got better. My father-n-law said that he sliced it on the fence. I beleived him. Yesterday, I came home from my parents house again. His stomach, leg, and private area are all sliced up and he was bleeding everwhere. My father-n-law said the same thing as last time. "He ran through the fence." I don't beleive him this time. He has a bad temper and gets mad about the dumbest things. I'm starting to think that he is hurting my dog. What should I do? Do you think he got sliced on the fence or that he got mad and hurt him? I can't get mad at him and say anything to him about it because my husband and I don't have enough money to get our own house. If he kicks us out, we will be homeless. What should I do?

Meaning - on whose turf?

The confident dog is not necessarially dominant.

The shy dog can get aggressive out of fear, but only w/ larger dogs usually, and this dog is his size.

If I get my dog neutered, will it help him calm down from being so hyper all the time and help him stop marking his territory all over the house?

I don't know how else to explain this, but we've noticed when walking our dog that most strangers smile at him, pet him, cross the street to see him and adore him...yet almost anytime we pass anyone with an asian persuasion they give him a wide gerth, try to avoid eye contact with the dog, and rarely even acknowledge his presence?

Our dog is a really cute boxer/pomimo (pomeranian/eskimo) cross and only 4 months old, not mean spirited and instantly playful with zero signs of aggression. People, kids, other dogs all get along with him...except...with all due respect...asians.

At first I thought I was making it up. But after weeks of this type of thing happening I am really starting to wonder.

Can anyone shed light on this? I know some people just aren't dog people, but I am a bit surprised.

The vet says he is probably allergic to something but doesn't know what. Any ideas? Poor fella also probably has nasal worms and is feeling very sorry for himself so any help would be great. Thanks.

My dog cant breathe through his nose and is a bit sneezy and rubs his nose a lot. Vet not sure but thinks it is a worm common in foxes but rare in dogs. Anyone heard of this? My dog's are wormed regularly so it cant be any of the regular parasites.

I have a Maltese and he is just 1 year old. For 6 months now, he won't put any weight on his back right leg. I took him to the vet and his leg isn't broken or fractured. I don't know what to do. Because he hasn't used his leg in so long, it now skinner than the other three which makes it much weaker now. Whats wrong with his leg? And what should I do?
