Nope. Vivi is still out there. We are not giving up hope yet. Sightings are dwindled and we honestly feel she's living with someone that just doesn't have a clue about what is going on. Whippets go feral very quickly when they escape, but once they are caught, they return to normal very quickly. We can only hope she has a family somewhere and isn't still out in the cold.

Vivi was sighted not to long ago. Probably living on what she can hunt and scavenge, clever girl.
The breeder was going to ship another dog recently, and when he walked away, security was saying they were going to have to open the crate again. Good thing the breeder was able to hear them and went back to hold the dog, or he may have had another lost dog on his hands.
Recently, an Afghan Hound's crate was dropped and the dog ran off into a busy roadway and was hit/killed by a car.
I will NEVER ship my dogs! If I can't drive then I guess the dog doesn't need to go there.

No, I read an article in the paper the other day. They think they have had some sightings but cannot find the dog

No, they were talking about it at the Westminster dog show last night. The dog is still missing.

No, unfortunately. "Vivi" the whippet is still missing a year later.
