Don't give her people food she will eat. Dogs can't be bulimic ort anorexic but they can get kidney and liver problems from people food.

Ah yes, lucky you! Puppies can go through "anorexia" at 5, 7 and 9 months (mine all have). They are likley not growing at this time. I'd ignore it, give the dog 10 minutes to eat, 3x a day, and if it doesn't eat, take it away. It's a phase, and I know how annoying it can be.
If the dog is skinny...you can "stuff" her, as in force feed the dog food. It could make her weird around food, but if this goes on for more than 3 days, it's something to consider.

that is how 10 month old chihuahua is. The vet says sometimes puppies go through stages where they are hunger all the time or where they never eat. My pup doesnt eat a lot during the day but at night right before bed she chows down on purina puppy dry food

Don't give her people food. I have a 9m. old pup who tried to do the same thing. She knew that if she hung around the table my sister would feed her people food. In turn, she started to refuse eating her own dog food and would basically only eat the food that we would eat. This also started a whole slew of problems with her stealing food off of pantry shelves, off the table, etc, etc. So if I were you, I'd try switching dog foods. Perhaps something with a chicken flavor or a beef flavor? My pup gets Beneful now I think its called, and she loves it. We also completely stopped giving her table/people food which helped end a lot of problems.

My dogs only eat at night. They won't eat during the day. But if you are worried they make dog gravy and you can put that over her food and I will guarantee that she will not have a problem eating anymore. But I would make sure she doesn't get people food.

Dont give her people food at any cost.....iif your sure she is not sich then dont force her to eat if she refuses to eat her food feed her light with biscuts or something like that.... Dont make the habbit of giving tit bits beneath the table, else, she will never be interested in her food.. Just leave her to herself once she is hungry she wll eat her food...

If your puppy knows that he will get people food, that's all he'll want. Dogs will hold out if they know thier owner will cave.

have you wormed this dog or chances are she likes what you are eating more than her food so try putting tuna broth on her dogffod and see if she eats it but make sure you worm this dog if you cant afford the medicine give this a shot it has worked many times for me get some raw hamburger and put wet cigarette tobacco or wet scoal in the center of it and get the dog to eat this will cover you until you get medicine i would only do this once a month

My dog went throught the same thing at around 5 months. He seemed to be bored or dislike his food so we changed it to a different brand and he started to eat right away.

Dogs can do this. They get bored with their food and try to get you to feed them something else. Don't feed her people food or she will always want it.
You can try changing the type of food, but mix it with what you are already feeding her so she won't get an upset stomach.
