I got a chuhuahua for Christmas and the breeder said puppy food until 1 year old. So I am asuming that 1 year would be when they stop growing. Mine is 3 months and I wish he would stay this size but I guess he will keep growing for 9 more months.

a chihuahua will usually get done around a year old. if you are talking about the best time to breed a pure bred chihuahua they are best bred at around a year old or even older. this way there are not as many problems with a pregnancy or delivery. hope this helps

Most dogs are full grown at around 8-12 months. However, some do grow slightly after.

It can take up to 3 years for the full coat, but usually you would know much younger becuase of feathering on the ears and tail ect. Some smoothcoats do have a 'longer' coat, though they are still smooth.
