He is fine one minute, and then all of the sudden he gets so mad! He starts barking, grawling, and bitting anything and everything in his site.

For everyone that keeps asking why i have a 5 month old puppy, The owner of the mother could not afford the 9 puppies on top of the mother as well. So stop asking, you can look at it this way, at least he has a home, food, and people that love him so back off man.

As much as I love all animals I think you may have a sick or a "bad" dog. I would check this out with a Vet.This could be a normal part of puppy behavior, depending on the severity of the attacks of rage. I raised dogs and once in a while you get one which is just mean and usually the breeder puts them down so the gene will not regenerate. Dogs have the same diseases as people and that includes mental illness. Check this dog out before a family member or friend suffers later on. Remember that you are responsible for what this dog does.

you may want to get this dog a distemperment shot also make sure this dog has not been in your trash onions will throw a dog into fits they will be ok one minute and just start going off make sure this dog knows where he stands in your home they have spray that you can put on things that you do not want this dog to chew on but on the other side he may be doing this for attention just remember give him a chance he is still a puppy

a puppy usually does not have rage at all - just fits of playfulness that gets misinterpreted - if he is having rage fits - pls take him to a vet and get him checked out - something must be wrong somewhere

its called playing.... now why on earth do you have a five week old puppy?
and zenwoman is nuts, the pups in a litter all share the same genetics, putting one down doesn't "save the line" from bad traits..

5 weeks?? Where is the mother? That is far too young to not be with his mother and siblings.....7 weeks is the soonest he should be taken away. I cannot help you, the mother is still teaching them things at 5 weeks.

Have this dog checked by a vet asap. This is not the kind of thing that people online here can analyze for you.

Not much different then whacky toddlers.
