I have a male puppy that is a lab mix, mostly likely with some type of hound. He is approx. 3 months old and when I weighed him today he was between 35 and 40 lbs. I am just curious as to how big he might get.

I'm bringing home a new puppy who will be given all required shots and yearly boosters. But the dog I have was given to me , and he's six years old and only had routine shots until he was two. I've only had him 6 months.I'm just worried that I'll have to give him a whole new series... or is a booster enough to bring him up to date? I wouldn't want to give the new puppy anything.

I have a wonderful Wheaton Terrier. We bought him Dec 15.

He came down with kennel cough after we took him to the vet to be checked out… (since left that vet)… I’ve taken him to another vet 3 times….. $200 a pop….. the only thing that gets cured is my wallet getting thinner lol

The vet gives us meds for a week or a week in half.. changes the meds each visit… nothing works….

Does anyone have any advice for me please?

I've read and heard different opinions on this subject- but it's getting tough to find things to entertain him with and tire him out, without him resorting to chewing on our arms and ankles. Some people say you shouldn't do it because it encourages aggressive behavior- others say you should because it helps strengthen their teeth (and tires him out)- he has 2 Kong chew- toys and a favorite stuffed animal, but he has the attention span of well... a Golden Retriever Puppy. Looking forward to hearing what the community has to say. Thank you-

We did and it works great especially since we can't do the outside thing with around 6 foot snow drifts in the yard. My poor pup would get lost. Just curious to see who else it worked for or didn't.

My shih tzu Spike is a little over two years old. He is my second shih tzu to own. My last one had very silky hair and didn't shed at all. But Spike's hair is VERY thick and kind of poofy. Not smooth like my other dog's was. And he does shed. Not much but more than my last dog. The woman I bought him from says he is a purebred Shih Tzu and gave me papers. He is just so different from my last Shih Tzu. Is he really a purebred? Is there a way to test to see if he is? Any advice/input would be much appreciated!
