My dog, a Golden Retriever threw up a hunk about three inches long by about two inches around. She has not eaten (other than 1/2 of a treat) or drank anything. What should i do to?

Chances are this is a sock, a small animal or something of that nature. If your dog seems ok after this let it go. Its to late to get a vet anyway. Watch her for any other symtoms.Keep the item in a plastic bag. You can take it to the vet for them to look at.

Take the lumpy bump to the vet with the dog- get em both checked! I was at a house ,the peoples dog (Lab) threw op a pair of pany hose-waistband and all. My friends dog threw up a plastic grocery bag- full of slime!

3 inches long by 2 inches around? Are you missing any small pets or bodily appendages?! Seriously though, you should consult your vet. This could be due to something she ate long BEFORE the treat that you may not even be aware of.

Can you specify what is that large chunk? and do you see him have difficulties after throwing up that large piece of chunk?

If he is still having difficulties in breathing or keeps trying to cough up something, then it is better you quickly bring him to the vet.

Otherwise it might just be fine, but for surety it is still better to bring him to the Vet .

Take her to the Vet.

She probably still has something stuck or has a blockage in her intestines and therefore, she can't keep anything down. The vet will take x-rays and figure out what's causing her these problems.

she probably did not chew it well and ate it to fast so it did not get fully digested. make sure she is not hungry when you treat her so she will chew it more slowly instead of gulping it down so fast.sounds like a blockage in there. retreivers are noted for chewing old socks rags and other items and she needs to have an xray to find the blockage

You should really go get her/him to a vet and he will diagnose your dog and tell you what's wrong. that would be the best thing to do.
