Take your puppy to obedience classes so you can both learn how to work together. Now is a really good age to start. It's very important with any large or powerful breed puppy that you learn to train and care for them from the beginning. GL with your pup.

Pitbulls love training and can be quite easy. However, it really will help if you put your puppy into a good Puppy Kindergarten class. the teacher can help you learn.
My Pittie was easier to train than my golden Retriever.
A good book to start with is Dr. Patricia McConnell's "Family Friendly Dog Training: a Six Week Program for You and Your Dog".
