Anxiety problems in dogs.?

Has anyone used Clomacalm for anxiety for a min pin. She's beside herself,and is suffering badly 5 hrs a day. So sad!!!

Yes, Clomicalm is very effective. It takes awhile to work though, so be patient. Also, remember the medication by itself will NOT stop her anxiety. The medication plus training is the only thing that will work. Depending on what type of anxiety she has, there are many exercise you can practice with her to help her overcome the anxiety. The meds will help keep her mind clear enough to respond to your training.

min pins are high strung little dogs. if you have a rural king feed store go in and check out the pet supplies or a big blue. they have natural pills for dogs to help calm them. research them first and use the right dosage.how old is this dog? is she around kids that may be making her so nervous? you need to find the source of her fears and eliminate them and maybe she will do better.Is someone yelling at her or punishing her to much? there is a reason she is acting like this. check into the source of the matter first and get her the right treatment. have u had her since a puppy and how long has she been anxious. Do you recall when the attacts first started. these are questions u must answer your self

I do know that there are calming pills for dogs who are overly anxious, for instance, some continually lick or chew to obsession or too skittish. If Clomacalm has changed your dog's personality, like, peeing in the house, etc. ask your Vet to try Prozac and see if that works better. My neighbor has a minnie pin and she is like an over tight spring all the time an my neighbor has to take her daily to a dog park to let her go and run for an hour daily.
