She is paying for the dog it's self, and I am paying for food, shampoo, bed, etc. She will be responsible for caring for the dog. I know beagles are extremely cute, but Iv'e heard they are loud and maybe not-so-kid-friendly.

My dog has suddenly started using the bathroom in the basement and I need to know what we can do. I can let him out and he will go relieve himself, come in and go downstairs and urinate on the floor. What can I do and what is causing it? We havent made any changes to our lives. We have a cat but have had her for 6 years and my son has a dog who we watch every so often, but he has had her for over 2 years now. I can't figure out why the dog is doing this all of a sudden!!!!

I have a miniature red poodle who is very aggressive. He always bites and we think it is because we are not walking him long enough. He is 6 years of age. How long should I walk my dog?

What do I do? I didn't take the necessary steps to making him feel comfortable with his crate.. I didnt' know that i was supposed to. I have never used the crate as a form of punishment and I put treats in and encourage him to hang out there. But when it is bed time or when we leave for work. he fights to get out and whines constantly. The whining usually goes for about 10 minutes. Then again a few hours later... all night long.

I have had him for a week and he is doing better with the potty training. I just want to know what i can do to make him more comfortable with his crate so that the potty training process goes even smoother.

Also, is there anything i can do to keep him from yelping all night, is he lonely??

My yard is only rocks, no grass. The problem is my neighbors walk their dogs past all the other houses in the neighborhood and allow their dogs to relieve themselves in yards. While they do pick up the remains it is still unsanitary as I have small children who occasionally like to "collect" rocks and should be able to do so from their own yard. How can I make my yard more uninviting to dogs without having to confront each individual dog owner.

We have a baby gate that we separates him from the rest of the house and he stays in there while we are at work but, he chews all of the wall corners like he thinks he can get out. Should I try to crate train him? Or will he be even more upset? HELP! My husband is tired of fixing the walls. If he is not in that room he has accidents on the carpet.

my dog has been having some problems over the last few days. we have taken him to the vet twice and they found nothing in his blood that was abnormal. but when they took an xray it showed that his spleen is very large. his liver is also bigger than normal. we have been refereed to a specialist in the city about 40 min away. but the only problem is that we have to wait until wednesday until they can see him. our vet has done all she can do. we are just waiting for the ultrasound. it is an hour and a half until the vet opens so i can talk to them. the thing is that he had been very droopy, and now he can barley get up. he wont eat anymore. what can i do? and please dont give me stupid answers , this is very hard. i am 17 and my mom is in the hospital so things are even more complicated than ever.

have a 8 week old shar pei. His name is Tao. Soo adorable. I am not taking him outside yet because he was a little bit sick and doesn't have his vaccinations yet. The is a Bathroom problem. When we are awake he always "shits" in the bathroom and we treat him. Sometimes he pisses on the carpet or the bathroom but i guess he is still getting used to the fact that he gets treated only when he does his thing in the bathroom. But when we are sleeping he always shits on the carpet. Its not really a pretty picture to be seen first thing in the morning when we wake up.
Help please.
