....to pay for "shipping"? I am looking at puppies online, lots of breeders are willing to 'ship" but how does that work? how much can i expect to pay?

If the puppy and the crate together are under 50 lbs, with Delta it runs about $210.

The breeder will probably charge $250 or more due to the State Health Certificate ($25-$45) required for travel, cost of the travel crate and possibly even transportation to the airport.

The puppy is being shipped from WHERE to WHERE?

That all depends on were it is coming from and going to. First there is the expence of the crate (only airline approved crate of the propper size will be allowed) second will be the cost of the vet health certificate. I shipped a 12 week old German Shepherd puppy from minneapolis MN to Phinox Arizonia (crate, Health Cert., and ticket) for about $350.00

I really hope you're not buying a puppy sight unseen. You need to be able to see the sire and dam, see the kennel/housing conditions of the dogs, make sure they are healthy, that sort of thing.

I don't think you can ship your dog anywhere. But I'm not sure.
