I read here that his health will also improve if he is spayed. Will spaying the male dane puppy, improve his growth too. Or how will it affect him?
But i wanted to get his litters later when he is completely matured, so i dont want him to be spayed. So, whats the solution for his weird behaviour with the other male dog who is also just 10 months?

My 11 month pure Dane and my neighbour's 10 month old (dane and lab)cross, try to mate when they play around. Is this natural? How serious should i take this issue?
My dane is just 11 month old, he is not yet mature. Is it a sign of prematurity? Please put in your views.

I have a 6 mo. old Dachshund and he is very stubborn, he will not go on pad or when we take him outside. As soon as i take him back inside he goes on the carpet. He knows he does wrong because when we catch him he runs away and hides untill we clean it.

Look at the green bar on this page that says SEARCH FOR QUESTIONS. Who else is tired of the same usless crap being asked over and over that has already been answered 500 times? Use this box to see if there is already an answer to your question, it's that simple! You'll find out if your dog is pregnant, choochie coo names for your teacup what the hell ever, what to do if your dog has diarrhea, why your dog is dragging it's butt etc. Geezus! Stop with all the repeated crap!

My boyfriend started to give our dog table scraps in his early days and as a result I've been in a constant battle with trying to feed him his dog food. I refuse to stand back with this proccess. Sometimes he will not eat for 2 days.. (only will eat his nutro chops). I do care about his health and would love for him to get all his proper nutritional intake. When he does give in he only eats a handful of his Nutro dog food. I've tried so many brands with him.. dry.. wet food, and none seem to really please him. I am starting to give him Nutri Stat and he seems to like it. Would it be okay if I fed this to him every day for a daily supplement? I also give him pet tabs for his vitamins! Do I need to feed both or just the Nutri Stat or Nutri Cal instead of Pet Tabs vitamins? Also, if my dog will not eat at all should I give him a higher dosage of the Nutri Stat? I know this is not all he needs, but he needs all the help!
Thank you!
I kindly appreciate all your answers!
Happy New Years!

I need a very friendly dog preferably under 15 lbs full grown, no larger than 25 lbs! That is good with children and other dogs! I have an 8 lb Papillon, i want a friend for him! But also a dog that would be compatible with our lifestyle! We live in an apartment have a 2 year old daughter and an 8lb male dog! Please don't say "Check out your local animal shelter." I would just like specific dogs breeds that are good with young children and other small dogs! Either by knowledge or experience! Thanks in advance!

When i play fetch with my dog, he goes to get the ball- but instead of coming back to me and dropping the ball- he runs in the other direction. He doesn't come when i try to coax him over, and if i quit the game to try to get the point across he doesn't understand. I want him to get better with retrieval and return, and i want him to know "drop it" eventually as well.

*Then when we play frisbee, he waits for it to hit the ground, then retrieves it and runs off. (the same as he does with fetch.)

My dog is very smart and trains very easily. I dont know how to teach him to play properly, but if i did I know that he could learn quickly. Like they say- if your dog is (repeatedly) doing something wrong, it is probably your fault.

If you can tell me what techniques you use (or used) -or even give me some professional advise, i would really appreciate it! Thanks!

My retriever's nose is suddenly changing colour, she is losing weight and has been incontinent for about two months. I've been to the vet about the latter problem and it has been recommended I wait until it is uncontrollable before I put her on medication.

Does anybody know if apples are bad for dogs? She has been eating them since the fall.
