contact a 24 hour vet clinic and ask them what would be best. she might be having pancriatitis from eating the wrong food. has she had any other health problems? could she have gotten into anything else? you can give her pedialyte to help with fluid loss but sounds like she needs vet care now! call your vet they usually will have an emergency number on their answering machine. if not go to the yellow pages and find the closest emergency clinic or a clinic that does after hour care. keep calling until you find someone. a dog that small can be dangerously ill in a very short amount of time.

Look up an emergency vet and take her at once-she could dehydrate and die.
If you live too far out or can't get an emergency vet, keep her warm and quiet, maybe feed her a bit of water in a dropper if she can swallow. The most immediate danger is dehydration.
If she can keep the water down, she may be allright. I also give mine (3.5 pounds) a quarter tsp. of pepto when her tummy gets upset. Do not allow her to eat dogfood for the rest of the day...if she gets up and acts hungry, give her a bit of rice or baby cereal.
You already know the vet would be best, but that is what I would do. Good luck.

You can agive a dog with an upset stomach or the runs a little pepto bismal. The dosage is usually 1/2 to 1 ML per pound. Most childrens medicine droppers or syringes are marked in ML.
When it gets to where it can eat feed it boiled chicken and rice cooked in chicken broth. Watch its water intake and make sure it gets enough fluids, but not too much to add to the vomiting. It would be best to contact the vet, but this may help in the meantime. You can check out the site below for more info.

You are going to need to go to an emergency clinic. You have to drive an hour, but if there is something serious, you dog needs to be seen right away. If she is not moving a lot....go to the nearest emergency vet.
You should be able to get a number by calling your regular clinic. They SHOULD have either a recording directing where to take emergencies or an answering service that can give you the information.

there should be a 24 hour vet clinic open somewhere within driving distance of you, at least call them to ask what to do if you can't make it there today, because no one will be open tomorrow either since it's a holiday. If you don't have a phone book just call information and ask for a number from a nearby city if there isn't one near you.

You don't want her to get dehydrated so you need to keep fluids in her. If she won't drink water try pedialyte or gatorade. I would make an appointment ASAP when your vets open. It could be the food that she has gotten into or the stress of another dog. it could also be viral or intestinal parasites.

i would cuddle with her and maybe masage her and try to watch where she is it could be something she ate outside when you let her out to go to the bathroom or something she ate when you were not looking so watch where she is going. and as soon as the vet opens get her straight to a vet as soon as one opens! Good luck! I hope she feels better!
