no dogs do not like to be messed about like that and they look stupid when idiots do dress them up i have had 4 dogs 1 poodle and 3 cairn terriers and none of them particularly liked even wearing a coat in the rain although i did make them for there own good but some people have no mentality at all

I think dressing them up is a bit unkind. It's ok to put them in a dog coat if they need it, but most dogs are well designed to withstand the cold. I guess most dogs would prefer not to have the extra layers and frilly hats imparing their vision!!

Absolutely do. My dog feels more confident out in the park when he has the latest clothes on. When I walked him there today, he was wearing:

- Reebok trainers
- Levi jeans
- A hoody
- Sunglasses
- A mini IPod

I think its cruel to let a dog run around without clothes and accessories.

Believe it or not, yes a lot of people do. Some dogs seem to enjoy it. I bought a fireman costume for my cat for Halloween, and she carries it around in her mouth all the time now. She loves it. Sometimes she will try to put in on herself, and it is very cute.

Some of those are just silly aren't they?

My dogs do have clothes, mainly out of necessity, though. The short haired ones have sweaters for winter, we have booties to protect paws from hot or cold pavement, that kind of thing.

But they do not have designer dresses or jewelry. :)

A few years back i bought my dog a waterproof coat with a hood - she looked like little red riding hood, lol. This was well before it became a 'fashion' tho. My dog was a trend setter!

No, playing dress-up with dogs is cruel, as well as making them look ridiculous.

No just a sweater, sweatshirt or jacket when it's cold out. She is just 5 months old and a small dog so she gets cold easy.
