They are both miniature schnauzers, as I've said...they've tied twice..the first time for 15ish minutes..and the second time for like 10-13 minutes. I know it's a little early to predict if she's pregnant....but my famlily and I are very excited...LOL
Thanks in advance...

I have done significant research on hypoallergenic dogs. In my research, I have discovered that hypoallergenic dog breeds are good allergy sufferers (unless, of course, the sufferer is allergic to dogs making even hypoallergenic dogs not "completely hypoallergenic.") This is because they're coats produce less shedding and dander. Am I correct?

I've talked to breeders of dogs as well as burds, bengals, and rats. The only breeder that was friendly was the rat breeder. Okay, there was one dog breeder I actually shared a laugh with, but that was mostly because she'd picked up the phone before it started ringing and dialed her sister's number when I called. It's hard not to laugh at that. All the others completely dismissed me and may have given false prices they knew I couldn't pay just to shut me up. Still can't justify paying $1500 for a dog, any dog.

Shelters around here have nothing but pits and larger, and I want a small fluffy dog. One shelter had a pug, another a chinese crested, neither fit the bill or even close. I've been to half a dozen so far with no luck. Rescues have fallen through, too. Found a dog, she was a little older than what I want, but either way, my 3yo sister killed my hopes on that one.

Because pet stores are bad, and even the classifides bear no fruit, what next?

We just adopted a beautiful male dog from the shelter. He has not yet been neutered and he is marking his territory all over our house. (we have a couple of other dogs, all fixed) Our appointment to have him neutured until the end of January and my question is, will this spraying stop once he is fixed or does it seem like it will be an ongoing problem? He is estimated to be about 3 years old if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I recently tried to clip my dogs nails and he tried to bite me and my wife.We ended up buying a muzzle for him to do the task. When we put the muzzle on him he went nuts, starting shaking every time we would get close to him.Do you have any advice on what we should do the next time we clip his nails.

Was looking on the trading post (Australian), found a "BREEDER" who breeds 17 toy cross breeds, 11 "mini" cross breeds, 5 medium cross breeds and 3 large cross breeds. Some of these include: GROODLE, LABRADOODLE, BICHPOO, CAVOODLE, JACKROODLE, MOODLE, RUGGLE, SCHNOODLE, SHITPOO, BRITTANY SPOODLE and many, many more.
The prices are STUPID ($450 for RUGGLE, $500 for BRITTANY SPOODLE, $650 for MINI GROODLE, $500 for MALTALIER).

The fact that people can breed such stupid "breeds" and make so much money out of it just frustrates me so much. Imagine how many of those dogs end up in shelters. The people that work there say Labradors (purebred) do not shed! They obviously don't screen their dogs but they do have health guarantees.
Before you post 'ok so whats the question'...
What do you think about this? How do you feel about this?

I know I feel angry just looking at those stupid designer dogs.
They obviously breed every heat as they have so many pups available.

he is a doberman puppy. It doesn't matter what we do,he jumps up and puts his paws on the counter/table and grabs whatever he can. It is such a pain to have to constantly chase him around the house trying to get it back. he can run very fast and is much smarter than the average pup.

So before I tell the story this is who it involves: My guyfriend (lets call him Bob) and my girlfriend (lets call her Alice).

Okay so Bob had a friend who had a liter of puppies. He had to give them all away so Bob decided to tell Alice about the puppies. So Bob introduced Alice to the puppies and maed Alice really want to get one of them. Bob specifically told her not go get one until he checked out more info on the dog (shots, etc). Alice went ahead and got the dog and then she had to go out of town. She asked me to dog sit while she was gone. So she did. Anyways, I fell completely in love with the dog, and it is really hard to know that it is going to go back to a home where it will have no one to play or be around. She is gone ALL of the time and neglects her animals. It is a sweet 7 month year old baby black lab... ALSO my friend Bob told Alice that he would let the dog stay at his house until her mom okayed it...He then said he had to go out of town, so Alice now has to...

My daughter gave her a stuffed dog toy for Christmas and she carries it with her everywhere. Now she has started to whine to go outside but then sits at the door whining to come in. She has also started to dig in the cat box geting all the litter out. This has happed about four times in the last two days. She also very clingy and has this pitiful look on her face. What could be the problem? I also have another lab that is her mother, and she is not acting quite the same, but not to this degree. Help?

I do consider him as a son, so in the family category - am I sexually abusing him. On the other hand, he is a big pudgy dog who cannot stretch enough to like his balls, and I feel sorry for him, so when he does clamp onto my leg, I just let him finish. I do look the other way though. So am I being a friend or abusing my dog?

I have a dog and my sister says that about 10 minutes before I get home my dog walks to the door and waits for me? It is weird becuase I do not get home from work at the same time. How does he know I am on my way home? Also when the earthquate at Northtrige took place, about 20 minutes before my dog was behaving crazy. And sometimes he behaves like he is playing with something in the air, like he wants to touch something in the air. It is very weird

My dog hurt her foot a few days ago but we did not notice. when we did notice, we put a sock on her foot so that she would not bleed on the carpet, we got the sock to stay with a hair tie. It came off last night and she wasn't bleeding anymore so I did not worry about it. This morning it was bleeding so I put the sock back on. I went to work at 8 and got off at 6. She was limping so I took off the sock and it was swollen. I feel absolutely terrible! So, my question is, will the blood flow back and will she be okay?? She is my baby girl! I feel awful. Please help. I will feel better if we know what is going on. Thank you!
