He is an Austraillian Shepherd and Chocolate Lab mix. Both breeds I love. I am hoping he will have many A.S. qualities. I still not sure what he will look like. Long fluffy hair like and A.S. or a golden lab.

I asked this question once before but I didn't elaborate much on it and I think I got the wrong answers. My husband is a pet lover. I never actually told him I'm not a pet person. We took our kids to a pet shop and I obviously thought the Maltese in the shop were soooo cute. (They really are). Well on my anniversary this year, he bought a white Maltese for me. She is adorable. But I do not like pets. I couldn't tell him. She's the perfect pet. She has been potty trained since she was 6 weeks old. Very obedient. But I can't stand her! The house smells although we keep her cleaned. Her food smells. I can't stand her licking me. Everyone likes her but me. Please help me. How can I tell my husband without hurting him or the kids. This pet needs to be in a family where both owners love her. My life is awful. It wasn't this way before. I'm having mood swings and my patience is ZERO! What should I do?

I have a 2 year old female siberian husky. I've noticed some strange behaviour back in Oct. of 2006 like carrying toys around in her mouth all the time and even to bed, in July. 2006 i got 2 male kittens. when they got used to my dog one of the kittens got a bit friendly with my dog and started sucking on her ****. then i noticed that she was producing milk. i know that she has not been around any male dogs because there arnt any around where i live. but its almost the end of dec. 2006 and its been 2 months or more and when will the milk production stop? and i dont know if this has to do with her producing milk but her coat i belive is usually thicker this time of the year and ive noticed her a few times shivering but i thought huskys liked the cold weather. last year she was fine but his year shes not what is happening?

I know this sounds silly but I need to keep my outdoor kennel clean. I have three dogs. Right now they are all in an very large outdoor kennel we built for them. I want to start bringing them in the house more and training and by spring I want to get rid of the kennel and put up the invisible fencing for them outside. But the problem is right now is that the kennel gets so dirty. I trie dto keep it clean but with all the rain then snow is seems imposible. It is just ground, we didnt put cement in there so now of course the grass is gone and with all the rain and snow and melting it is muddy in there, We had gotten so much rain and they started to go to the bathroom in their straw which I have a ton to clean out now. I just don't know what to do. Over the summer I put sawdust from the sawmill and covered the entire kennel ground, it worked well and I would scoop up their droppings everyday. But now I dont know what to do. I need some tips.

We have owned our wired haired terrier since March. (He will be a year old tomorrow.) He is the 3rd terrier I've owned, the other two both lived to a ripe old age and I love the breed and all the attitude that comes with it. BUT THIS ONE...YIKES! He is on hyperdrive all the time, or completely crashed on the floor (in sheer exhaustion I guess), then it's back on the run!

He was neutered as soon as we could, that slowed him down for I don't know, about 22 hours! LOL He gets lots of turn out in a huge yard, plus running around the farm while we're with the horses, still seems to have more energy than a classroom of first graders.

Short of doggy downer pills (which are looking pretty darn attractive right about now!) does anyone have any suggestions to get him to r-e-l-a-x while he's in the house?

I am going to purchase a dog from a breeder. The lady lives out of town. I DO NOT want to purchase from a puppy mill. What is the normal amount of the dogs who breed each year. The lady said she only breeds them once a year, and has 5 females...

My six month old Shitzu chewed an ink pen and has ink all over his paws and facial whiskers. Is there a safe way to get the ink off? The puppy wipes nor the bath have worked. Is the ink going to hurt his system?
Thanks,

She is about five months old. She is some sort of terrier mix. I got her at the humane society about two weeks ago and named her Hippo. She is already attached to me, and is smart and obedient and an all around good dog. And she's beautiful, to boot!

She is scheduled to be spayed at the Williamson County Humane Society on January 16th. I am not considering canceling the appointment, but rather asking what this humane and necessary procedure will do to her character. I know it varies from individual to individual, but a general idea would be nice. Thanks Yahoo! Answers!

My dog has been sick since last night. Last night he wouldn't eat. Well, today he finally was able to eat. When I took him for his walk, he pooped twice, but they didn't look right. It wasn't diarhea. His first poop were a couple of chocolate looking balls. I opened them up with a stick, and found very dry light brown crumbs. His second poop was dark brown red logs (kind of like brick color). I tried to open them with a different stick, and it was very hard to open. However, I saw the inside, and it was the same as the outside. Not liquidy at all, but not very dry either. Should I worry about this? Should I call the vet? Please Help.

My dog will not quit destroying everything in our house. He has destroyed a futon, chewed through two lamp cords, phone charger, airconditioner cord, suround sound cable, computer cables and now pulled all of the inselation out of the fridge. We've crated him, isolated him, gave him plenty of love, nothing that me and my husband have tried has worked. Does anyone have any advise?
