the only way she could have a heat cycle is if some ovarian or uterine tisssue was left behind. take her to the vet to rule out a medical condition

You really need to have her checked. If a dog is spayed or neutered, it shouldn't be doing that. Is she losing blood like she is menstruating? If she is you need to take her to the vet A.S.A.P. If she isn't bleeding from there, then i would say it's the scent of boy dogs that makes her sexual. Spaying and nuetering doesn't necessarily take the "want" away, it just takes the ability to make kids away. As in some cases, the dog can still mate, but she wont get pregnant. Kind of like birth control. I still think you should have her checked by her vet. Something else could be wrong, or maybe a not-so-good vet that tried spaying her didn't really know what they were doing. That has happened before. One time there was a male cat, and they were supposed to have neutered it but they accidently forgot to take the other testicle and so he acts like he's not neutered. So go have her looked at. And if you kept the vet that spayed her than maybe you should consider taking her to another vet just for a 2nd opinion.

Dogs that are 'in heat' have serious symptoms, trust me.
The usually are really hyperactive, want to go outside alot, whine when other dogs go by outside, bleed ( yep a dog period) and they air hump.

If she has been spayed, and is air humping or humping period she might be overexcited, or itchy on the inside. When they do that, they aren't really ready to procreate, the just are...excited.
I wouldn't worry about it, even guniea pigs do that.

Good luck, and if its bothering you guys and the other dog, just discipline her. It will stop soon.

:D

She cannot be in heat but sometimes hormones will make a dog that is spayed "hump" other dogs, legs, stuffed animals, etc. This behavior should subside as the dog gets older.

No they can't. Was she only spayed recently? It's possible she has an infection or her hormones haven't calmed down yet. Best take her to the vet for a check up.
