Do you have a lab? I have a black lab that just loves to investigate. Some dogs are just hyper curious and this could just be a part of her personality. Remember, their sense of smell is much greater than ours. I wouldn't worry about it. She probably senses the smell of other dogs, outdoor cats, or wildlife.

You paid a specialist to come and and check out your fence??
We have a VERY energetic dog actually two but one is still a puppy. This adult dog does this to rid some of that penned up energy. We let him do it. If he doesn't he is a nervous wreck!
When young we had a dog who caught someone trying to climb our fence (pit bull), after this she patrolled that fence waiting for the person to come back.
Either of these scenarios could be your dogs "problem". Even a cat or raccoon, or opossum who once walked the fence could be it. Of course we see do not see it as a problem, and paying a specialist (someone who gets paid for doing such work) would not be our option. Wish you well.

There's probably nothing wrong with her. She's probably just patrolling her territory. If she does it excessively, like 5, 6, or 7 times in a row until she is exhausted, she might have a bit of an obsession, in which case you can train her not to do it. Try walking with her at your side (and keep her at your side) as patrol the fence. Have her sit near the fence, and keep her quiet and calm. Do this with a commanding presence, rather than giving her sing-songy commands. If you're going to train her, you need to show her who's the boss. But like I said, she's probably just running along the perimeter of her territory. Dogs are territorial animals.

It shouldn't be anything to worry about, if your dog is really young. Young puppies like getting worked up about nothing, and they love to interest themselves in little things and entertaining themselves.
