A neighbour (I can't find which) has a habit of letting their dogs roam, either intentionally or just by a lack of attention. They are both large, and one in particular, some kind of sharpei/chow mix is very aggressive. The first time I encountered him I saw a dog loose on my land, and thought one of mine had escaped, until it turned at growled at me. It then trotted around to the front door and did the same to my boyfriend. The other just seems to tag along for company. The aggressive dog frequently comes onto my property (I have a fenced area for my dogs) and tries to fight with my dogs through the fence. I have also seen him on more than one occasion bothering my neighbour's horse. Needless to say he is unneutered. He has a collar and tags, but I don't care to get close enough to read them. Does anyone have any creative solutions for removing him/running him off permanently? Animal control can't arrive in time, and I don't want the owner to retaliate if we shoot it .

well i'm interested in getting a german shepherd but i want to make sure (since they have a bad rep) that the dog will be safe. I heard that you should ask for clearences (eye, hip, elbow, heart ect.) i'm not sure what this means though and what i should be looking for? what are other things that i should ask the breeder?

he does as soon as i get home from school and i open the door he doesn't give me anytime to step back and throw my bookbag to the ground he just jumps up in my arms and starts peeing all over me and the ground this has been going on since he was 2 monthes old he is now a year and a half old...could this be a medical problem....?

My dog seems to always want to play. Even when I try to be serious with him and try to dicipline him he still thinks I am just playing with him. I am trying to teach him some commands but he just thinks I am playing with him. It makes it very difficult to teach commands. Any suggestions.

drive, she likes to pull and chase squirrels, she is an out doorsy dog she is a pit bull 6 yrs we just spent 1000 on the operation and now she seems like she is worse of now than before she tore her knee cap shes 90lbs and a great family dog is there anything that i can do to help her heal. the vet says that alot of vets dont do this type of surgery and he only does about 4 or 5 a year because of the complications and the risk that it just might not work like i think this is whats happened with my dog i think she may have reinkured the same leg but cat be sure till we go to the vet. sometimes she is walking fine and at othertimes she can barely ut weight on it, HELP ME I CANT SPEND ANOTHER 1000 BUCKS
