Look at the eyes... are they tearing? Red or inflamed? Is there any discharge? If you don't notice any of these things, it COULD be their ears, not the eyes.
Either way, take the time you spent posting this question online and ASK A VET. Yeesh.

I've never heard of eyes smelling.. sounds like it could be an infection. Take your puppy to the vet.

the EYES!!!!! Sounds like an infection. although I have NEVER heard,seen or smelled EYES!!!!! take your puppy to the vet

i agree with everyone else, i've never heard of eyes smelling but it could be a sign of infection. either that or, like the others said, it is the ears or breath you smell.

could be a yeast infection get the puppy to a vet

Take yr puppy to the vet. He/she is a wealth of knowledge. That's why you pay them!

you are prob. smelling the mouth. a vet can clean the teeth and make sure you are giving crunchy things to chew on to help.

you should ask a vet
or someone at petco cause it could be serrious
or try washing around the eyes
