What size food bowl would be best for a Maltese puppy expected to get up to 6 pounds when he is full grown? a 5 inch or 7 inch?

My Grandma has a maltese and it is 10 pounds. And his food bowl hold a little less than a cup.

It actually doesn't matter what size food bowl, unless different sizes cost differently. As long as you have the right amount of food, anything works! So go crazy and go buy the prettiest and cutest food bowl you can ever find.

I would get a 7" just in case. It is better for the bowl to be bigger than needed than smaller.

probably a 5'' because small dogs eat very little. as long as it can get its head in.
