No I think this is normal. Most dogs do this. If I go get the mail and come back my dog freaks out.

You need a dog walker, or someone to let him out during the daytime. If you do that and he's "empty" when he greets you, problem solved. If not, time for a visit to the vet.
Also - once the dog walker situation has been resolved, try to make it a little less exciting for your pup when you come home - don't talk to him or interact with him for a few minutes at first, and then greet him calmly when he settles down a bit. This isn't mean; it just shows him that he needs to settle down and relax before you will say hi to him.

Not necessarily a medical problem. Sounds like a neglect problem. Someone needs to be there to let your dog outside in the middle of the day. I hope he's not home by himself the whole time you're at school?

Are you exaggerating or does he really pee all over you? If he does, this may be a medical problem (when he gets excited, he can't control himself and pees in his pants - figuratively, since a dog doesn't really wear pants). Or, it might be a training problem. You may have to train him to stop peeing all over you.

You can't control his excitement: he's just excited to see you. If you were about to meet Oprah or something, and if someone tried to make you not excited, I don't think it would work, now would it?

Does somebody let him out during the day? If he is let out regularly and still does this I would consider talking to the vet about it because it could be a medical problem.

my dogs like that too...except that my dog doesn't pee on me...thats weird...hopefully you take your dog outside so he'll have time to pee or whatever, at least like twice a day would be fine..unless..thats not the problem...then consider taking your dog to the vet..and ask if its normal because i've seriously never heard of that...of course they're hyperactive but thats normal

may be he loves you to much that he cant help to pee when you get home. or he drinks to much water try not giving him water as long as he is in a cool place until you come back from school and them give him water see how that works.
