You mean she's bleeding through her vagina? Sounds like your baby just turned into a woman. That happened to my baby when she was like 8 months. She's having her first period and she's in heat. She's also going to swell in that area. Her period is going to last for at least a good 2 weeks, so make sure you don't have her around carpets and furniture since she's going to stain them. Some people put doggie diapers on them, but that's your choice. If you feel you want to spay her, you can after she's done. It's usually healthier to spay her if you don't feel like you would want to breed her.
Yeah so if you don't want a pregnant doggie, have her stay away from male dogs because she will be looking for a mate!

It's probably her first heat cycle (the dog's equivalent of a period). She will be very attractive to male dogs for the next couple weeks, and you need to keep a close eye on her and keep her with you at all times to be sure she doesn't get bred. A week or two after the bleeding stops, take her to the vet and get her spayed!!! You can do it now, but it will probably cost a little more because the surgery is harder when they are in heat. Good Luck!!

Don't worry. You're dog is coming in heat. That's natural. If you are not going to breed her you will need to call your vet and schedule an appointment to get her spayed. They can't do it until she is over this heat cycle. If you don't get her spayed she will go through this every 6-7 months. DO NOT let her get pregnant now....she is still a baby herself!!!

She is in heat. If you don't know this, then she should be spayed as you need to be very careful and never let her outside unsupervised. Male dogs will do anything to get to a female in heat.

She's in heat, keep all male dogs away, Be sure she cannot break out of your house/yard, and that another dog cannot break into your house/yard. No worries, it should last between 2 weeks and a month.

eShe's in heat. As others said, keep her away from male dogs and watch her like a hawk when she is outside. Once her heat is over, spay her at the vets.

Most of my female dogs came in heat(bleeding in her opening?) when they turned 6 mths. old. That's all it is. Your baby girl is turning into an adult female doggie.
