AKC. It is the oldest and most established. People try to push off ACA, but my experience is to stay with the foundation breeds though AKC.

AKC it is the most widely known registry. The Aca is a fake registry used by puppy mills and pet stores and they issue registration papers to any dog without proof of parentage just a picture will do. If you have a dog with ACA papers and you wanted to participate in obedience or agility you would have to apply for an ILP from AKC because those papers are not accepted anywhere.

ACA is a totally for profit registration that does not require any real proof of parentage. Popular with the pet stores for that reason!!!!
AKC requires that parents be registerd and therefore is a history to hlep assure the dog is pure. They have shows,trials,and events for dogs.
ACA has nothing.
ACA is a crap registration that just collects money and registers dogs that are not pure, but LOOK like a breed.

It's a FAKE,recently made up by CROOKS purely to SCAM the ignorant into thinking they paid for a REAL dog instead of the *POS* they got.

Wouldn't buy a dog that wasn't registered AKC.

AKC is the larger older and more recognized kennel club.
They are the sponsers of dog shows and they are the only registry I will look at dogs from at this time.

AKC. They are known more by people, and they have alot of benafits. Even mutts can get benafits from them.
