She is a German Shephard; has a week old litter. We've got an appointment with the vet on Wednesday (48 hours away); I'm wondering if we need to be worried about this and get her in ASAP. Please help! Thanks.

I've had an adult lab (4yrs old) for 2 years now - if my ex gets partial custody of the kids, no one will be home sometimes to care for the dog (retriever). Other than making her an outdoor dog, or paying lots of money for daily visits by pet sitters, any suggestions other than giving the dog to a caring family? If do keep her, any suggestions on how she can be comfortable outside, especially in winter months?

A 7yr old schnauzer gave birth when she was 3 yrs old. After that she developed ansiety and fear of storms and loud noises. Also she chews her paws to the point of bleeding. The vet prescribed tranquilizers but I don't want her drugged up. I have been giving her a homeopathic medicine that helps her but it doesn't really solve the problem. She has also been given treats to chew on but after she finishes them she goes back to her paws. Does anyone have any other ideas that would help this dog?

so, I have a 3 month old maltese, whom I ADORE! She's the cutest little thing in the world, and Id love to take her everywhere with me, but she just doesnt want to walk on the leash! She just wants to go her own way, and when I try tugging a bit, she just sits down. I have to DRAG her to make her move! Im insistent, Ive even waited for her to get off her but for 15 minutes, only to follow me 2 minutes, then sit back down again. Shes not tired, because as soon as the leash is off shes running everywhere.... but why the lazyness when the leash is on?
