they can be breeder's kennels where the dogs are raised in a large building, hopefully with heat and air. It could also be used to describe a boatding kennel.

a dog kennel is like a "doggie vacation condo" dogs can go their while you are away and they get their outside time ,naps and dog cookies or treats luch dinner and breakfast!

It is a place where dogs can stay and be cared for while their owners are away (vacation, etc.). Please check them out thoroughly beforehand, as there are good ones and not-so-good ones. Sometimes it is best to get a housesitter, it all depends upon your situation.

It's a place where they charge you to take care of your dog. You have to take them there and they charge you for food, housing, and play time.
