My husband and I just treated our two dogs for fleas using Hartz flea and tick shampoo. Our dogs are now dry, and we still found a few live fleas on them. Is this normal, and if not, what should we do now? We have our dogs closed into a room, so we wont get anymore in the house. The shampoo says not to use again for a week. Any suggestions?!

My yorkie is approx 2.5 lbs and you would think we could easily overpower him, but when I even open the drawer where I keep the nail clippers, he freaks out completely! I'm afraid we'll hurt him trying to hold him and his nails are getting longer and longer! Help!

She is 5.5 months old. Registered tri- color beagle. She was fine moments before and drinking water when I left the room for all of one minute. I came back in and she was limping with her left leg pulled up close to her body. This happened over an hour ago and it has relaxed somewhat but still will not support weight

i know alot about pets, but all my animals have been fixed and never had the chance to get pregnant, we think our one dog is, this will be her second litter( the same dog that got her pregnant would have done it this time to),how do we know? around here its 80.00 for a preg. test for a dog(thats krazy!im not paying that).... her nipples are getting bigger again, shes becomming very tempermentle aswell shes putting weight on..but shes also eating more... so im not sur if the weight gain is cux shes preg. or if its from her eating so much.SHE HAD NONE OF THESE SIGNS THE FIRST TIME! what are some sites i can go to for more information on animal pregnancy. Also any suggestions on what i can do to find out how far along she is and what would be the best food to feed her(shes huskey shepard mixed and is only almost 3.),ANY OTHER INFO ANYONE MAY HAVE ON ANIMAL PREGNANCIES WILL BE GREATLY APPREITIATED!thanx soo much

We treat our two dogs every month for fleas, and in our old apartment, we never had a problem with fleas. We've moved to another apartment, and now we're having a problem. I'm afraid they're bringing them in, even though they've been treated.

How can I get rid of them in the furniture, carpet, and keep them out!
