I love puppy breath and they lose it as they get older. It is not like dog breath. I don't know why it is so appealing except it is something you only smell with a small puppy before they start on real food. But you know I think it is like the smell of a skunk spray if it is really really faint. It is similar. So I have wondered it it is there on the little puppies to protect them from other dogs and predators to keep them from harming the innocent defenseless tiny babies. I do love puppy breath!

It's the newness of the puppy. Puppies are the cutest things in the world and everything about them is cute.
I hate to admit this, but every time I see a puppy I um, er, kinda, um, get watery eyes. Now... how 'bout 'dem Bears?

There is nothing in the world like brand new baby puppy breath!

It's not the breath itself, necessarily - it's like an ugly dog being so ugly that it's cute. Your puppy's breath is coming from (obviously) that cute, smiling puppy.

I don't find puppy breath appealing at all. Sorry to disappoint!

Because their lungs are so pure and fresh. I know a baby's breath smells like candy!

Me too. It's not just the breath, too. It's the actual puppy itself(for me). Maybe it's appealing because I love dogs? Idk.

It is their innocence and dependency upon us that make them so appealing.
