My puppy is nine weeks old and she just won't stop doing her business all over the house. I'm putting her out frequently throughout the day but although she does do it in the garden, she comes straight inside and does it on the carpet too. I've tried heaping on the praise when she does it outside and not being too happy when it's inside but she's not getting the message at all! Will this change once she can go out for proper walks? How can I make this stop?

my Chihuahua is about 63 day pregnant, 20 days ago I took her to the vet and he said I should take in side the house and prepare a whelping box, I took her to my room, then 5 days ago she started nesting "on Saturday" I took her to the vet again he said she is about to have her puppies and I should be checking on her and never leave her alone and when she start to deliver I could take her to him or help her my self at home, I read every thing I could find and I prepared a whelping tray and I moved with her to the guest room since Saturday because I don't want her to give birth in my room, I haven't had a good night sleep since put her with me in the house and she is very attached to me she follow me every were and keep going to my room I think she wants to give birth in my room, my question is when is she about to have her puppies ? I really need to sleep.

I'm a teacher, so somewhat flexible to be at home, and miss the companionship of a dog. Would it be fair to get a dog? I would have loads of time when school is out during holidays and half terms.

I figured he may get sick but seriously beginning to think I may need some advice. He puked mid day today and it was orange and alot of the product came up ( the rest came out the other end) After that he has puked 3 more times and it has been a yellow liquid that was almost foamy... is this stomach acid? He has ate a bit but not much but has still been drinking water like normal....what can i do for my baby??? Someone PLEASE help me

I have kept 2 pups out of a litter that my own dog had, They r very good most of the time but i am getting fed up with the constant pooin and peeing on the floor, i keep my back door open nearly all day so they can go out when they need to, they do go to the toilet outside but then also do it indoors, i dont very often catch them at it as i have four dogs and its a bit hard to know who did it without following them around all day! i cant tell them off if i dont see them do it, is there any spray or anything on the market that would stop them doing it? They r 12 weeks old now and i understand they have to learn but how long will this go on for?

my dog seems like he has some mucus in his throat, and every time he makes this sound i know he is trying to get rid of the mucus but every time he tries...nothing come out. the mucus stays in his mouth and he just had to swallow it back down. and now his mouth is gotten watery. he is not drooling or anything but i think it is because of the mucus that made his mouth watery than before. so, does any one here know what i can do to help him get rid of his mucus or make his mouth less watery.

I have two dogs, a border collie and a beschaun fritzey. They both like to gnaw on T-bones whenever they happen upon the dinner table. My beschaun will just chew off the meat, gnaw on the bone, and basically leave it alone after that. My border collie will crunch the bone in her teeth and swallow chunks. I know they say bones are good for dogs (as long as it's not chicken) and I know dogs eat bones alot. I haven't seen my border collie acting strange, or whining, but I can't help wondering if she could be in pain and I wouldn't know it? Thanks, any tips or information on how to tell if she is in pain, or if bones can cause pain for dogs if they swallow them, would be great thx.

does it make anyone as sick as me that Denver has now almost killed 1000 Pits because of the political power and ignorance of politicians? They have starved newborn puppies because they were Pit pups as well as a mans dog was shot while he was passing through. does this sound like animal cruelty to anyone else.
If you hate Pits then save your comments and move to Denver.

i walk my dog Barkley every night. he then goes through the whole block smelling and peeing on some of my neighbors grass, plants or flowers. when he poo poos i pick them up and clean after it. no one complains about my dog other than this one family who didnt like my dog on their yard. so is it really okay for me and my dog to keep doing what were doing? coz there might be a "silent" message you know...

I love dogs, but they (the stray ones) are causing absolute nuisance in my garage, scratching my car, dirtying all over. I need some repellant (commonly available) which can be spread or sprayed

Today has not been good. My boyfriend got a puppy a couple months ago. Levi. He fell in love with him and they were inseperable.(The puppy even would jump in the shower when he would be in there.) Today was my boyfriends 23rd birthday. I sent him some flowers, when he opened the door for the UPS guy Levi ran out and was hit by a car and died immediently. He had to see the body and everything. He then carried it and buried him in the sideyard. He called me crying his eyes out. He kept saying " I miss him, I want him back." I live a few hours away from him and cant see him until this weekend. I feel so bad, the card I sent with the flowers said --- Love me and Levi.--- .He even went out last night to petsmart with Levi and bought him some new toys and everything. What can i do? Anything? My heart is breaking for him and Levi. He sounds horrible on the phone.
Man, why do things like this have to happen!!
