Pregnancy is usually between 59 and 63 days.
You will need to be concerned about the size of your female.
It is always best if she larger than the male. She is the one that has the babies grow inside her and they need room.
Hopefully the male was also a Chihuahua. When you mix breeds you are often throwing in a variance in the size that may be harmful on the mom to be.
Always know who the vet is on call the entire week your girl is due to have the babies, just in case she needs any help.
Better to take a few minutes and find out who is on call than wait till the last minute and rush around trying to find a vet that is open in the middle of the night.
And you can bet she will figure out a way to deliver in the middle of the night....her revenge on the humans for letting her get preg.

well i don't know about the jestation period...
however, gestation for chihuahuas and ANY dog is 63 days from the day your dogs were 'doin it'

Around 63 days, it can be 3 days before or 3 days after. Good luck. Babies are so beautiful.

It is gestation and it is the same length of time for all breeds. 60-63 days

If they did it recently go to a vet, there are ways to stop the gestation.
