I have a 6 month old Kelpie X.. the X is the part which has me stumped. She has a ridge down her back, which is quite thick and coarse. White markings on her chest, and 3 of her paws.

Meet Jessie :)

Looks like she may have some Labrador Retriever in her.

It's difficult to say because all of the pictures of Kelpies online are all different. Could it be that your dog is purebred? Whatever the case she looks like a sweet dog.

One thing I noticed was her large ears, I had a shepherd pup that had large ears like that, but maybe she just hasn't grown into hers yet.

What are her behaviors? Does she try to herd things? She looks like she could have some border collie in there. I had a border collie that was supposedly part sheltie as well...took me two years and a scary experience to figure out that it was more like border collie/coyote (it happens in desert areas around Tucson)...she could catch little birds right out of the air...and she was really fast...outran a whole pack of coyotes once.

I'd go with a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They are rare and from Rhodesia in Africa, and many people in the states don't have them, nor have they heard of them. I had a friend who had one, and I'm just into dog breeds in general. Here's a link:

First off let me say your dog looks really cute =)

It is hard to tell what kind of dog she/ he is since its not full grown.
From what I can tell it looks like a possible Pincher/ Jack Russel and maybe some other breed mix.
