Could the fact she had puppies so early have stunted her growth? I always kept her in a kennel when she was in heat, but i went out for a week and the woman who was watching her didnt do a very good job...
Shes maybe...40-55lbs and she doesnt have very thick fur like an average german shepherd but shes perfectly healthy, energetic, gentle and protective just like any other.
Please try and answer, I'm just a little worried since shes only grown about 5 inches total since i first got her (9 1/2 months)
She didnt have any problems having puppies but she only had 2, and they're both very healthy.

The dad is a full blue pit (show quality with flawless pedigree), mom is blue pit/lab mix (sable color) and she just dropped a litter today. There are 12 puppies and 2 of them are sable. The rest are all blue mostly solid blue. I really don't care about how much I would profit or lose (as long as its not too much.) I don't want it to go to a home where people will fight the dogs or cannot afford vet fees for checkups and etc. I really regret the fact that I did not spay my female due to my busy schedule and procrastination. Anyhow the blue pits are very desirable for pitbull lovers. The parents have great temperment and are excellent guard dogs. How much should a person sell their puppies if they cannot screen the homes? $100? $200? How much would you pay or sell it for (considering the fact that you are not trying to make money)? Thanks for reading..

I have had 3 dogs to died in the last 5 weeks. another would have but made it to the vet in time. bud the one I lost today was playing like always around 4pm. and I went out at 7.30 to feed them and he was dead.I keep them tie up because of their breed.{pit} There was no markings on him at all. I figure maybe a snake bit him but could not fine where. He was swell up some but not bad.Can a snake kill a full grown pit in 4 hours? This is number 3.And all of them was doing fine only hours before I found them dead.I have 3 more and would loved to no what to do to protect them. My wife said maybe a heat stroke but they are tied up with alot of trees to shade them and alot of water. any help would greatly consider and try. thanks before hand for any information anyone can give me. rick.

Just curious about how come the dog's eyes glow.

I have 4 dogs, and all 4 of them have this glow to them. One of the glow is sorta like greenish color. The other dog has this reddish glow.

Why's that? o.0

She was dewormed pretty regularly before she got pregnant, but I just worry that she might get them while she's pregnant if I'm not deworming her. And I definitly dont want the puppies to be born w/ worms.

my Rottweiler is 9 years old and he has a limp fore left leg and he doesn't eat or run or even stand up anymore. I know it sounds weird, but, I think he is ready to go too. How do I go about finding where, when, how and who to use to let him "go to sleep"? Any information is much appreciated. Oh, please don't tell me he is just bored or sleeping, I know my dog and know how he used to act. Regardless, any info regarding the question is appreciated. Thanks.

My dog has been tearing himself up this summer, scratching constantly. First thought was obviously fleas, but my home has hardwood floors and when I bathe or comb him, I rarely see any fleas (if I see any fleas it is just one flea). I really don't think he has a problem with fleas. Could it be fleas making him itch so much?

I changed his food this summer which after 2 bags, seems to be aggrivating the problem. I'm thinking he has an allergy, possibly to any flea bite, or maybe his food... What can I put on him tonight to soothe his skin? (I just bathed him today with medicated shampoo and he is *still* scratching away!) What can I do for my doggy so that he will stop tearing himself up?

Candy Fudge

I heard somebody talk about her dog named Candy Fudge and at the time I didn't think it was very cute at all. What do you think?

I am looking for a short coated black and tan german shepherd puppy bred for intelligence and calm temperament max 105 pounds. The German lines are too hyper and demanding. The American Show lines are cow hocked and dingy with weak rear ends. Isn't there a middle ground? What happened to Rin Tin Tin? I am frustrated. Can anyone help? Thank you

She's a female puppy, that I'm aquiring from my roommate when she moves out later next month. She's light brown, and is best friends with my German Shepherd, Aurora. I was thinking of maybe keeping to a theme, something Alaskan, possibly? Or just a really cute name. Her current name is Honey, which I wouldn't mind keeping, except for the fact that I call my boyfriend honey. I can already envision the confusion! Maybe something that goes with Honey, so I can still maybe have her middle name as Honey.
Thanks!

My 4-5 month old, 30 lb. puppy managed to get the lid off of the kitchen trash and fish out this morning's coffee filter. Most of the grounds dumped into the trash when she got it (only made 1 cup this morning--about 3 tbsp of grounds) but she chewed the filter into several pieces. There seem to be a number of vets and vet techs out there: How bad are coffee grounds for dogs? It doesn't appear that she intentionally ingested any, but there may have been some incidental ingestion (less than a teaspoon).... sigh...Thanks.
