Ethan sweetheart though it hurts terribly now in time it wll be better. Dying is a part of life somethng we all eventually will go through. Its okay to be sad but think of the funny and good times you and your puppy had and remember he is in a beautiful place:Puppy Heaven. One day at a time Ethan; just try to handle it one day at a time.

About 2 years ago we put my dog Keima down. It was really hard and to today I still miss her very much. She was 12 years old and had the same B-day as me. I loved her alot and I stiil do. Just because our pets aren't with us doesn't mean that we have to stop loving them or forget them. I grew up with Keima. She was older than though by 1 or 2 years. And you don't have to stop talking about her either, just go to somebody that u can trust like a parent or a close friend and tell them how you feel. You may not want to get another dog right away and it was a year til we got Grace, my loveable Brittany Spaniel. I know wht you r going through i went through it too and so did alot of other people. I hope that this helped cause now u got me crying. just reamember that she is always with u. lots of luv!! Sassi

I am so sorry for your loss. I had an English Bulldog puppy choke when he was 2 months old. He died in my arms as we were trying desperately to dislodge the toy. We tried to get to the emergency vet clinic but it was too late. I was so sad and I had to take a few days off of work just to mourn. I know it is painful but only time will help you get through this. I can hardly talk about it still. The only thing that gives me comfort is the fact that I gave him the best life while I had him.
My thoughts are with you. Take care.

I feel so bad for you. I love my dogs very much and would be so hurt . I have lost pets in the past. You will always remember them but time will help you get over the pain of losing the pet you love so much. Maybe later get another puppy. It won't replace the one you lost. It will just give you another pet to love and focus on. That's what my husband did for me when my dog died. He waited a while and got me the cutest puppy. I still miss my dog but not as much. I hope this help's you. We had our dog cremated and still have her ashes in an urn that we keep. Some people think this is weird but it makes me feel better so I don't care.

I am so sorry!! I have owned pets for over 40 years and I have been thru this many times, but it is never easy. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. If you bought her recently from a breeder or pet store, you need to call them and let them know she died. You may have to get an autopsy(necropsy) done to prove how she died. I know you don't want to think about this right now, but it needs to be done right away. Again I am so sorry for your loss!!
