She's a female puppy, that I'm aquiring from my roommate when she moves out later next month. She's light brown, and is best friends with my German Shepherd, Aurora. I was thinking of maybe keeping to a theme, something Alaskan, possibly? Or just a really cute name. Her current name is Honey, which I wouldn't mind keeping, except for the fact that I call my boyfriend honey. I can already envision the confusion! Maybe something that goes with Honey, so I can still maybe have her middle name as Honey.
Thanks!

Nina, Like Nino(El Nino) except the female version. I dunno how to type the n with the accent mark, so it's pronounced Neen-ya.

Moxie If I ever get a chi that's what I want to call it.
Borialis. As in Aurora Borialis, the "Northern Lights". Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about. It's really pretty.

EDIT
You would also call both of them by yelling, Aurora Borialis!! Sounds a little like swearing.

I had a chi named Honeybunch. She died this past September. It is easy to distinguish from the nickname Honey. It may be hard to get her used to a different name, specially when your boyfriend is around and you call him Honey. Maybe try a different nickname for him.

I adopted a 10 year old Chihuahua from an animal shelter.
I wanted a new name for him.........I approached a woman at work who spoke Spanish and she came up with a few good names for my little guy.
I decided on the name POGI, which means "macho dude".......quite appropriate ........sounded cute too.....it stuck!
You might try that approach to finding a unique name.

Sorry, the first thing that comes to my mind with a Chihuahua is "Jumping Bean" which wouldn't be a good name at all.

What about Juneau for Alaska? Eskimo?
