Our 10 weeks old golden sleeps in the crate at night time (He still barks for a while before falling asleep and gets up around 5-6am every morning and start barking), i've read some websites that say if we can't play with him, we should put him back in the crate even when we are at home, such as busy cooking... Is this true? I tried but he just won't stop barking, sometimes when i just need to vacuum or do some housework, i put him back in his crate, he'll just stare at me and start barking. What should i do? And he gets up super early every morning and start barking at 5-6am, we usually get up and take him out for him to relieve himself, then we'll put him back in the crate because we want to sleep for a couple hours more, but he just won't stop barking after that? HELP!!!! Sometimes when we are home, we let him out and run around the apartment, but then he chews on everything and sometimes have accidents around the house too! Any suggestions?

I live in a fairly large apartment with a dog park and I want a puppy. I don't like little yappy dogs so a very small dog is out of the question. I have two cats who are not dog shy but I need a breed that is really laid back and sweet. I was thinking a lab, any suggestions?

My Lab is 2 years old and pretty much a great dog, very good with people and mild, however I live in a small community and in the summer there is a lot of tourist walking past my house. My Lab don't usually be tied on cause he don't leave the yard. But when there is someone passing by he runs out to the edge of the road and barks and barks, he sounds very scary, if I didn't know him I'd be scared. He has never hurt anyone and when they talk to him he acts like he found a new best friend...but some people don't talk to him and he really scares them. If one of us go out to him he gets worse. I don't know what to do with him, we've tried so many things, nothing works, and he knows he is being bad cause when they are gone on by he'll come in and hide under the table....please help before the wrong person comes along. Thks

Our puppy is 6 months old and she absolutely cannot be by herself at all. I understand she needs lots of attention and we give her plenty. We take her for walks everyday and play with her when were home, but if we leave the room to even go to the bathroom shes right at the door whining until she can come in or we come out. She has to constantly be right next to me and my bf 24/7. Please Help!

My joejoe is like my son, and he is so loyle to me it is really unbelieable. He was on his chain in the back yard when, also dang it my wife was back there in the garden,he bit a child when she tryed to pet him while his bone was down by her too. He just nipped her but I know it hurt. About a yr later he did the same thing to the gls mom when she was petting him in the house. Should I have got rid of him? The Vet said no, to just be more responsible with him when we have company. What do u think?

My Yellow lab is 12yrs old and she smells awful, most of the smell comes from her private area. We tried getting baby wipes and cleaning it everyday but she is getting tender in that area. We visited the vet and they gave us some wipes but they dont work at all. She is just to old to be doing surgery on to correct the problem. Any ideas what I should do?

He will just run like you are playing with him when you try to get him to come in from outside. I really don't want to spend the money for electric fence but if I have no other options I will. He listens really well any other time.

The nipples are not red or black, just normal colour. They are flat to her skin, but have this large flat hard mass behind (about 2" diameter). She is a Chihuahua.

I have a Golden Retreiver who is seven months, and although she likes baths and showers shies away from the inground swimming pool. I thought that by nature retreivers are water dogs, and I was wondering a safe way to intoduce her to the pool, without scaring her off. Or without just pulling her in with me.
