There could be a number of causes from poor nutrition to alopecia to a more severe problem like lupus or a tumor. Bring her to the vet to get a diagnosis.

I think we'll need some more information out of you to really help you out. Is the skin just pink (normal) or is it pink from a rash or sore (not normal)? Is your dog old and balding (normal) or relatively young (not normal)? Is it warm where you are, and the dog is shedding her thick coat (normal), or are you in a climate where she'll need more hair for warmth (not normal)? Is the hair coming off a bit at a time, like when you brush her hair, or is it falling off in clumps (definately not normal)? Also, are the bald spots bothering her, is she licking or chewing at them, or do they not affect her? Is the skin hot to the touch (not normal)?
A dog losing hair can be caused by a number of different things. Some salves might work, like aloe vera, but if the hair lose is caused by something other than skin irritation, then it won't help at all and might make it worse. I'd say take her to the vet.

This definitely warrants a veterinary exam. She could have allergies or internal issues causing this condition, and the sooner it's diagnosed and treatment begun, the more quickly you can return your dog to health.
Best wishes for her!
