Believe me I am not trying to be funny. He is probably telling you that he does not like it. They are so smart and he is hungry and needs to eat. Try to add an apple or something to give it flavor. They want variety. Like we do. A Vet will say packaged or canned food is best. It is not. I am not telling you what to do. But try what I said and see what happens. Good Luck and love your 4 legged best friend. They are so special!!!

All I know, is that if I got the same crap day after day after day, I'd be barking some choice words at it too.
Life still needs to be interesting for your dog. Obviously, table scraps aren't a good idea, but you may try doing what we do, and put some canned dog food in with the dry. We also give them some left over meat from the table if it's not spicy (and not pork). The dogs love this and look forward to supper.

My dog just came home from the kennel and now barks at his food again. He gets all worked up
and finally eats it a little at a time. (He did this when he was young but not recently). It is not funny.
He is a collie and I worry he may get bloat from getting so worked up and then eating. If I keep scooping
the food into the middle of the bowl it helps a little. His vet has no answers either.

Well you cant hear it but dog food actually communicates on a lower frequency than we can hear. Although a dog does not speak the same dialect, it can in fact hear every word the dog food speaks. So you see the K-9 is actually reacting to the action taken by the so called dog food. So in conclusion you should really wonder why the food is so agressive toward the dog.

Go here for an awesome dog training program http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?14zP
Since it is obvious that you do not have a clue about obedience training, your services should be for free. You cannot train even an adult dog for 8 hours a day. About the most that can be done at any one time is 10 - 20 minutes and that is with an adult dog and not a puppy. The attention span on this baby is extremely short and training session should be no more than 10 minutes and twice a day. Additionally, there isn t going to be much learned if you will only be training for 5 days. Obedience training is cumulative and is done over a much longer period of at least several weeks to several months.
What you can charge is determined by your experience, reputation, and accomplishments and in a case like this, should also include guaranteed expectations. Just working with dogs over several years, is not the experience that is necessary to be a dog trainer. There are too many people who are putting that title to their name and fleecing the public. Don t be one of them.

He might be doing that because it might think that it's going to hurt it.But I'm wondering if it eats it even though it does eat it than it's OK and you might as well tape it and send it to The Planet's Funniest Animals and you can get 100 dollars too. If it doesn't eat it, than you should bring her to the vet.

How cute.. I had a dog that used to do that.. I loved it.. He does it for attention.. for gratitude.. Sometime.. play and pretend that you are going to take his food.. I used to do that also.
