Don't know if she's pregnant or not(although it sounds like it). But,if she is I recomend feeding her Purina puppy chow-has all the extra vitamins and minerals she and the pups need.I had a dog that was pregnant, and was given the same advice-she had 15 pups and the smallest was 13 oz at birth-we lost 1 out of 15(it was breech and had cord around it's neck-lasted 3 days-not good from the start)Anyways, good, big,HEALTHY pups!Swear by "purina"-wouldn't feed my animals anything else.

I,m confused, how can it be that all of your pets are fixed and yet this is her second litter? Are you suggesting that your dogs operation was an unsuccessful one? Did she get spayed after her first litter? I understand that the 80 dollars is probably not neccessary, especially if you don't intend on spaying her now. In case you don't know, she can get spayed right now, even if she is pregnant she can get spayed, this relieves you of a lot of financial responsibilites as well as the responsibility of finding good homes for the pups.
Below is an article on caring for a pregnant dog.
Spaying your dog decreases the possibility of future medical problems, problems which could lead to her being very expensive.
As always, consider buying your dog a high quality dog food, puppy formula is a must for pregnant dogs. make sure that you read the ingredients label, I always make sure that none of the first five ingredients is whole or ground corn, often this can mean that the protein source is from the corn and grains as opposed to the meats, which is what it really should be.
Read as much as you can about it, there are a lot of good links and articles online that you can check out.
Good luck

Getting her fixed is cheaper than feeding a pregnant dog and caring for the litter until they are old enough to find homes. Take the money from this litter to fix her. You could ask for 40.00 each for the puppies to donate toward fixing her. Sounds exactly like she is pregnant. I am a breeder and do puppy rescue. You must fix her or it will keep happening. There are lots of male dogs that will find a female in heat. When she is in heat you must have her confinde at ALL times where she cannot be with a male. Not just in a back yard. They will dig out or jump your fence. You just listed all the signs. Some vets will do an ultrasound or x-ray. I always give my pregnant and nursing mothers scrambled or boiled egg each morning and a mixture of cottage cheese with yogurt at night in addition to their regular dry food. Sardines are good for them too giving them fish oil for coats.

I know a great site about animal pregnancy when I find it again I will post. If your not sure that the same dog bred with your dog when the litter is born check for similar quazlities..such as a white spot on the forehead, or white "boots" on their feet. See my dog had a litter and the 2 pups she had looked the same as her but on her face it was creamy white and her pups face was dark brown. Then her next litter her pups looked exactly the same as her only ALOT bigger, so a different dog bred with her. Thats really the only way you can tell, besides the testing. Hope that helped..

you can tell by palpation wheather a she is pregnant by 26 days of gestation. At this stage, the puppies are no bigger than the size of a walnut. the technique for palpating is to have your dog lie down on her side so that her tummy is relaxed. Place one hand beneath, and one hand on top of her lower abdomen by pressing with your fingers you may be able to detect several small firm lumps which are the puppies growing in the horns of the uterus.Excessive weight gain should be avoided at all cost.Fat puppies may make her labor difficult. Feed a daily ration of high protein kibble.

Look, I wouldn't even pay $80 for a pregnancy test for myself, let alone a dog!! But, I'm confused, you said all your animals were fixed, but she's preggers... As far as being able to tell if she is or not because symptoms are different, don't you know that every pregnancy is different?

a dogs gestation period is sixty days. if your dog is pregnant her vulva will be swollen to twice it's normal size. when was the last time she was in heat. if it was only three weeks ago you have about 45 days to go; if it was sooner or later than that you do the math! i would call my vet and make an appointment for her. if she is pregnant i would make another appointment to have her spayed after she weans.

Take the dog to the vet. Why let her become pregnant if you refuse to want to pay vet bills. If you have pets, vets are needed, PERIOD.
You are a lousy pet owner for not caring for your pet.
